20 years later the euro is a disappointment at best

20 years later the euro is a disappointment at best

the chart shows EUR is the second most important world currency, what did you expect?

>20% of foreign exchange reserves
That's not bad at all

the mark was about the same as the euro, its not really a noticeable improvement

they were aiming for it to be the global reserve currency

these things take time.

If you ain't first you're last

>imagine having your reserves in pounds

it's been 20 years already

Are you incapable of thinking beyond a single generation?

It would explain a lot of Greece's financial mismanagement.

you aren't better than him

>beyond a single generation
yes let's think about it
so either the main european economies drop the rest and the euro greatly overvalues (but they lose their cheap export capabilities) or they keep going as is and the euro remains irrelevant and at some point maybe ceases to exist
ok now? good, kys

>they were aiming for it to be the global reserve currency

Wait until the dollar crashes completely.
What do you think will happen when whites make less than 50% of the population there? They'll go apeshit, literally civil war.
No currency can withstand that, EUR will rise to power.

If Trump keeps being autistic it will happen sooner. A lot of people didn't like its use of the Dollar as a weapon; the Euro is much more stable in that regard

that's a very hypothetical scenario

I'm Scottish.

>2nd most important currency in world
>irrelevant

You stormfag LARPers really are something else

>what has been the last 25 years of US history?

>that's a very hypothetical scenario
Do you really think there will be no
>we are majority now
used as an argument to back up political moves?

it was never supposed to replace USD

>the Greek economic understanding

Imagine actually thinking the EU is a failure, or a bad thing

>there are people that actually think the Euro can become the key currency

come on
say you must bet on which would still exist in a hundred years
would you really bet on the EU over the US?

What's a stormfag larper?

what's wrong with it?

they invaded iraq twice and they're still the superpower

This.

EU collapse is more likely than US collapse
Also more likely that China overtakes the US than the EU

dunno, think that's why they brought the foreigners - kalergi plan etc, the most likely economic kang of the future is china/russia

china isn't good option because of strict currency control
