The streets are too clean to look like Jew York
it must be super cool to live in such a city
Why were you looking at brazilian cities on google maps
Looks more like Adelaide. One of if not the least impressive capital city in australia
Brazil as a country and economy fascinates me. I have a feeling it's unfairly underrated, while it's an economic giant with cities that look like American ones and probably produce the same amount of GDP.
I can only try to imagine how much money Brazilian lawyers and bankers who reside in these skyscrapers make.
Not really, Adelaide does have several nice skyscrapers but it's not that big overall
I want to live in a lavish neighborhood of Rio so badly
They surely do not judging from your pictures.
Yeah, I'm also jealous, I wish we had such street canyons in Europe.
>economic giant
I can't say anything about Brazil's industrial production but I'm pretty sure there are no factories along these streets filled with skyscrapers. It's mostly specialized services.
For me, it's Florianopolis.
>I wish we had such street canyons in Europe.
Ever been to Warsaw? Look up Grzybowska street for example.
These actually look surprisingly good, AND also similar to a Japanese big city. I'm impressed
not comparable at all
most of the business district in SP and Rio looks like that, I'm impressed as well
I know that Sao Paulo has many skyscrapers, but it is not a beautiful city unlike NY.
the centre is beautiful imo, in a modernist way ofc
>Jow Forums impressed by cookie cutter roads
wtf what did you think brazil was like
you made him proud
god bless you brazil anons
>streets are too clean to look like Jew York
nyc must be absolute garbage then.
>this is good somehow
I did know Brazil has skyscrapers in the centre but I expected them to look more like commieblocks in eastern Europe, while they form street canyons like in America or Japan. Also, the number of skyscrapers one next to another makes the Brazilian economy look very robust.
downtown sao paulo is one of the sketchiest places I've set foot in. Good neighborhoods like alphaville or higienopolis or are actually outside downtown
I don't know what is good or bad in terms of safety or even maintenance, I can only judge what impression the views make and I must admit it does look stunning. We need more streets like that in Europe.
The streets are large but the traffic jam is insufferable. It takes 3 hours to get anywhere because there aren't enough public transport and people still think cars give them social status os something. Shit is terrible on weekends and holidays when they go visit their families.
By "streets" I didn't mean a lot of lanes, I just want these "canyons" with skyscrapers all along the street. Actually, I'd rather have narrow streets between the "skyscraper walls" only public transport could access.
>people still think cars give them social status os something.
Same here desu.
It is. New york is dirty as fuck.
Avenida Paulista is really cool
I've been there
I was impressed about how diverse that place was.
It does look like Jew York.
Sao Paulo was 70% Italian in the 40s
Really makes you think

Check out Florianopolis next
doesn't look that good
btw, do Brazilians rob their churches?
