>Britain must be ready to use military force to enforce its global interests after Brexit, defence minister Gavin Williamson said on Sunday, adding that the boundaries between peace and war are becoming blurred.
>“Brexit has brought us to a great moment in our history. A moment when we must strengthen our global presence, enhance our lethality, and increase our mass,” Williamson said in a speech in London. "Indeed if we cannot leverage our soft power with the EU in the foreseeable future, we ought to be prepared to let hard power do the talking where diplomacy fails," he added.
>b-b-big usa plizz help us to defend our global interests >u-u-uk stronk
Henry Phillips
ever heard of Aleksandr Dugin?
he proposed that russia should do everything to take britain away from the eu, because ultimately britain and eu would get into confrontation eventually
Brayden Harris
The latest hilarious story out of the UK is that they want to stay in the EU customs union. For free. Without being EU member. Are they now going to war with us? Lmao
Dylan Campbell
weaponized autism
Kayden Parker
So they're getting out of NATO, too?
Cooper Perez
>Anglo-Russian entente this TERRIFIES the eurocuck
Tyler Anderson
I mean Nato is pretty much just America, France and UK at this point so if they can convince Americans to side with them they pretty much have the upper edge
In any situation Canada/Australia/New Zealand will send tonnes of volunteers in a full blown war unless its for retarded reasons.
If its invading Ireland again I think half of Canada would just shit on the UK but if its countering Belgian aggression, would gladly destroy Brussels with the lads.
Nicholas Davis
Thought I was the only one on here who knew about Dugin. Most Brexiters don't know Russia was planning Brexit from the late 90s. Also, it's more to do with screwing the euro-atlantic alliance than a direct confrontation between the UK and Europe.
Cant wait for frogs and krauts to wipe the anglos off the map desu.
Jaxon Cruz
So was all the mass immigration part of the this russian plan too? Seems like it's a required prerequisite to start this yet for all you lot who are seemingly so wise to Ivan's schemes you let the first big step of them happen
Jeremiah Martin
I don't think either of them have anything that would hold a candle to this.
>man in charge of defense budget is in favour of an increased defense budget wow
Chase Collins
uk is getting weak argentines should give it another go
Gavin Edwards
You underestimate our power
Jason Rogers
lmao
Gavin Wilson
>You underestimate the platform the US has allowed us to have
Charles Sullivan
Doesnt matter. When the US first started fighting in ww1 in bootcamps they used broomsticks and not guns to practice shooting, but by the end of the war they relieved france and britain of a lot of pressure. Just because you start off with more equipment doesnt mean you will win. So I raise my glass of wine to frogs and krauts.
Andrew Collins
EU has more people, a GDP equal to the USA and is capable of being almost entirely self-reliant. The US needs Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Logan Jenkins
So the UK will adopt North Korea tactics now? "Do what I want or I will totally nuke you. For sure, trust me I'm really gonna do it this time."
Dugin is a meme on par with Zhirinovsky. He's not taken seriously by someone like Putin, regardless of the fact that his geopolitical fantasy novels are like pornography to some Russians. Russia has always reserved the deepest antipathy towards the UK and USA over any others, it's hardly Dugin who invented it. He's like Russia's very own Varg. It's astonishing how quickly people in the West have forgotten something like the Cold War. It's as if all the political analysis in the media today was completely devoid of all understanding of history.
Britain on the other hand was always "The Reluctant One" within the EU. This has hardly been a secret either.
Noah Kelly
>he is not taken seriously >strangely all his sugestions are becoming reality
Liam Anderson
Holy based 100years War part 2 incoming Every Continental fisherman must hang
Evan Clark
Does EU stand a chance against UK?
Robert White
UK aren't the good guys here Le Duan.
Cameron Kelly
you missed the point, brexit is just a sympton of the larger issue of mass migration and opening the EU to poorer countries unless he suggested to do this his idea of splitting the UK from the EU is just an unspecific idea, obviously the UK would be the first to leave the EU it doesn't take a genius to figure that out
John Ross
That's like asking if the US stands a chance against Canada
Kayden Gomez
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh my fucking God They still think they can just sail a gunboat somewhere and tell the spear chuckers to bend over HAHAHA oh God those fucking Bongs, love those guys
David Torres
Conventional War between major powers today would probably be very quick and producing naval ships takes a long time
Adrian Thompson
>good guys bad guys Brainlet American
Anthony Martinez
The hundred years war was started due to French aggression. This is merely a continuation.
Jason Perez
66 million vs 450 million people UK and France both have nukes Nothing will happen
Carter Cox
The Hundred Years War was a civil war between French nobility
