There is not a solid reason, I just gradually drifted away. I went from reading books, watching Russian tv/films, reading articles, doing some Russian learning daily, to reading a couple of articles a week and listening to podcasts to just listening to a couple of podcasts a week. Now i barely listen to any of the Russia focused podcasts. At the moment i'm more interested in Iran but i can't seem to convince myself it would be worth learning Farsi.

I think you can count the more active people on two hands, it not that busy, and overall it's more about random chatting than exclusively lang stuff but there are nice lang/cultural discussions and if you have someone who speaks your target lang you can get more specific help
and there's nothing stopping us from doing that here, but a lot of peeps from there don't bother as much with Jow Forums (anymore); hard to blame really
this thread, and anything on this site really, is exposed to too much rampant cancer
