Painkiller is the best game of my childhood. I remember I got stuck at a 10th level, when you have to defeat the swamp monster. I was unable to kill him for like 6 months or so. Even using cheats. Until accidently my 7 y.o. neighbour who was a Downie forgot his keys and had to stay in my apartment, waiting for his mother. I asked him to defeat the monster (just for lulz, expecting him to fail even at figuring out how a keyboard works). He defeated him in 3 minutes and then defeated the next boss.
