Look at this map. I have managed to put into the USA the following countries : Ireland. UK. France. Spain. Portugal. Germany. Bulgaria. Serbia. Italy. Austria. Switzerland. Hungary. Belgium. The Netherlands. Greece. Denmark. Japan. South Korea. Slovakia. Poland. Romania. Czech Republic. and Israel.
And there is a lot of area to spare. By the way if you wondered the population of all of those countries combined is : 687,966,570 which is more than twice the population of the USA which is 327,167,434.
thats ok israel just needs to conquer some new lands you know for lebensraum

We have a lot of natural borders (rivers, moutains ranges, etc) America not so much, plus it has grown as one entity in a new territory, it's a very different story than Europe. If Amerindians had made their countries, I'm pretty sure it would have also been divided in several ones, though not as small as what we have
America has about half of Europe's population for about the same territory (and that's including European Russia) I don't know which one is incredibly empty or incredibly full
Gabriel Roberts
Europe is too crowded and not big enough.
Brandon Clark
honestly there's worse China is about 2 times as dense and India about 5
Oliver Roberts
if we repatriated every Europeans around the world back to Europe (including European Russia)
roughly 476 million people >7 millions from Siberia >244 from North America >192 from Latin America >6 from Africa >27 from Australia which is about 2/3 of Europe's population
the continent would have ~1.220 billion people Which would give it an awfully autistic density of 120ppl/km2, almost as dense as China
>I don't know which one is incredibly empty or incredibly full given that population density all over Earth's land area is about 50/km2, the US is below the norm and Europe above
I think a billion people can live in the USA and it will still won't be that crowded.
William Allen
well that would give the US a density of ~100/km2 so that's higher than Europe which has 70/km2 which you said was already crowded
Jayden Diaz
We're roughly the same size as China (geographically), so we would have a similar density with 1 billion people. One thing that messes with China's density statistics is that almost all Chinese people live east of this line.
