I was interested in learning a Chinese language other than Mandarin. I managed to find appropriate materials on the internet for Cantonese or Hokkien but I couldn’t for Hakka.

lol, my grandparents are illiterate in chinese, and can barely speak about anything other than day to day topics. sun yat sen mostly spoke in cantonese, and lee kuan yew couldnt even speak any chinese language till he learned mandarin in his 30s. i think its quite an achievement i can still talk with my grandparents fluently growing up in singapore and also read the language as well
cantonese is the easiest to learn i guess since it is the most "popular" non chinese language
