How would you rate your metro system? How much do you pay for using it?

How would you rate your metro system? How much do you pay for using it?

>6/10 Simply because at least we have and it's cheap, even though it gets easily paralyzed for many reasons and it's not safe.
>5 MXN (a quarter of USD per travel)

it works fine but costs around a USD, 1/3 if you're a student or >65 years old

Bump

0/10

$0 because I don't use it.

Chilangos really don't appreciate their public transport. CDMX metro smells like piss and can be overcrowded sometimes but it's really efficient! You have trolebus, light train, buses, taxis, Uber, BRT even cart bikes in shitty areas.
Outside Mexico City public transport is fucking shit, old unities, expensive (13 pesos in Tijuana!) and inefficient.

You dont want to know how much I pay for it

I used to think ours is shit but then I visit France.

Metros aren't cheap. They're built by tax payer money. Here they recently expanded it and ended up costing 2,3 billion euros

I only don't like the functionality of interior design and how deep most of the stations are

Attached: shema_metro_msk_2020-1024x927.png (1024x927, 888K)

idk i kinda like 8a line interior

Attached: Petrovsky_park_metro_station_-_view_from_stairs.jpg (1600x1065, 1.11M)

It costs $0.7 btw

I don't mean how it looks but rather how it deals with constant flows of people

Whoa, that looks pretty cool.

Do the trains also match the interior design scheme?

no
Well the only things i can think of that would improve something is 4 escalators and wider platforms tho it's impossible to rebuild the most busy lines

Attached: 1087354.jpg (1200x800, 379K)

They usually just don't even try to separate different flows which causes a mess

Portland only has light rail It has a lot of homeless bums on it, but it's convenient if you are near a station. The fare is $2.50 for 150 minutes or $5 for a full-day pass.

How would you rate your metro system?
8/10, shit happens sometimes but nothing too bad
Safe (except for that one robbery that happened last month), comfy so I sleep all the time and very cold AC
>How much do you pay for using it?
RM100 (USD25) monthly pass

>transit mall
Wtf

8/10 I pay around 0.9 dollars to 2 dollars max ( I don't by monthly pass ) it's relatively cheap and easy to get around. The only thing I don't like about it is because it's too crowded but I can tolerate that.

>these incompregensible mess of different abbreviations and lines of different systems with probably different tickets
I hate Paris and Frankfurt metros for that, it's a nightmare for a tourist

It costs 100 USD a month to ride it

I did the math once and I realized that monthly car payments are actually more cheaper than riding it daily also you don't have to deal with nignogs who try to steal your phone

However it looks cool and was in Fallout 3 so I guess that's something

i dont have a metro system

buy*

It's just some streets with special bus-only lanes next to the train lines.

I could rate it lower but the issues are because of budget cuts and not because of the metro system.

Trams are too slow and there's often a very long distance to the nearest train station, since there are so few lines

Paris will make you want to kill yourself

I confirm

6/10
It's really simple and a much better alternative to driving downtown. It's usually pretty clean and quiet but sometimes you get a mentally ill homeless person making a bunch of commotion. During rush hour it's fuming trash though

Attached: Subway-station.jpg (1316x597, 284K)

5/10. To the nearest station I need to walk about 20 minutes, or 10 minutes on bus, and there is not enough transfer stations. Actually in Moscow 9/10.

Paris.
5/10. It works fine there's a train every 3 or 4 mins, but it's ugly, smells like piss and has lots of thieves and beggars (mostly gypsies). Also some lines are way too crowded like the 13 which will make you want to kill yourself if you take it in the summer during rush hour.
But some lines are good, bc they're not underground and the view is nice

Still hasn't been built yet.
Driverless trains and higher frequency compared to our normal trains they replaced.
Price info not released. Our trains cost $3-5 USD.

5/10

expensive, overcrowded, smelly, but still fun to explore as the lines are very old and full of history

Attached: tube-map.gif (2483x1832, 424K)

Kje kje

Kek. The achual-actual metro network is just a pitchfork. Nobody asked for trams etc

Attached: Metrohaarukka.jpg (1278x326, 73K)

9/10. Overloaded in rush hours and still somewhat costly for non-students, but otherwise great.

Attached: munich.png (3508x2480, 1.08M)

Sure, but I think it's kind of pointless looking at only one specific type of train, I'm more interested in how you actually get around the cities. Doesn't really make a difference whether the train is orange or purple, or if it's called U-bahn or S-bahn
