Hello, Jow Forums

Hello, Jow Forums
Today I'll show you a common Mexican supermarket
To keep things simple, 20 mxn = 1 usd

This is the checkout area. There are many chasiers, but often only a few are on service.

Picture not apt for Japanese

Attached: IMG_20190313_112058522_HDR.jpg (4032x2268, 2.5M)

Sheeit, I haven't had these in years

Attached: IMG_20190313_112242987.jpg (4032x2268, 2.71M)

You better hope nobody saw you kek

The first time a Venezuelan classmate went to a supermarket here in Méjico it was like traveling to a different dimension to him. Really Venezuela is falling apart.

kek, some security guard came and told me I couldn't photograph the merchandise
Didn't realize this was Venezuela. What are they hiding or so? I didn't see any sign saying photographs not being allowed

So now I'm just at the dining area.

Yea that's not real wagyu

Not self-service? on such a big supermarket?

You mean like those Amazon stores without cashiers?
Lol Mexico is still too 3rd world for that.

Attached: IMG_20190313_114839990~2.jpg (3710x2119, 1.93M)

Just eat some pre-packaged molida

Attached: IMG_20190313_115325217~2.jpg (3772x2148, 2.07M)

where are you? CDMX or monterrey

But we have O-I-L
More oil than Venezuela could imagine
And in those boxes? More O-I-L

Also this is a Mexican bus. The fare is 9 pesos or 6 if you're a student with ID or senior citizen

>You mean like those Amazon stores without cashiers?
>Lol Mexico is still too 3rd world for that.
lad...amazon isn't the only store with self-checkout
my superstore looks like but has 8 self-checkout machines for people who want to skip the line or do it themselves

Oh, what's this?

Is it true guys from Xalapa are cute? Asking for a faggot friend.

I'm sure this classic Wii game will be sold soon enough.

Indresding thread

You can buy SIX packs of instant noodles for just one dollar!

Attached: IMG_20190313_122812210.jpg (2268x4032, 2.04M)

your supermarket looks a lot nicer than our ones. they remind me of the ones in france.

Or a healthy loaf of bread for just 1.50

It's inside a mall, so it's to be expected

Attached: IMG_20190313_123238254.jpg (2268x4032, 2.09M)

Looks very first world

Your photos show Mexico like pretty decent country. It looks very similar to the USA.

Shit, wtf? These chips are 50% more expensive at Oxxo

You can feel the 3rd world on the little details, though.

Attached: IMG_20190313_123611843.jpg (2268x4032, 2.42M)

Mexico is a weird mix of first world coexisting with third world...and violent.

Attached: 1548469291544.jpg (1820x2048, 1.25M)

Can you show the meat section, the vegetables, cheeses and charcuterie?

Bodega Aurrerá is cheap in general, I bought a bottle of Vive 100 for 5 pesos lol

>tons of fucking cashiers
>only 2 or 3 are open
Every fucking time

We're 2nd world at best, leaning down to 3rd rather than first

Attached: IMG_20190313_123808226.jpg (2268x4032, 2.61M)

Chedraui (the first supermarket) has those and a delicatessen section. But I doubt Bodega Aurrerá (the second one) has those. Not OP.

I have left already but nothing out of the ordinary. Plenty of packaged meat. Mostly beef and chicken. Same with cheese.
But we have C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E

Attached: IMG_20190313_124352618.jpg (2268x4032, 2.22M)

Man, we have them colorful things here too

>Post the in store prices and there will be an end to the madness

Fuck Jewxxo.
Only good to pay stuff.
I use my nearby tiendita for everything else.

Attached: IMG_20190313_125903544.jpg (4032x2268, 3.08M)

Who /quality/ first world roads here?

Attached: IMG_20190313_125824601~2.jpg (2181x3440, 2.47M)

We also have marts, without the shart.

And the gas prices per liter for today.

Attached: IMG_20190313_125649811.jpg (4032x2268, 2.57M)

if mexico is so nice why do you keep coming here?

Litre/gallon?

Liter, we don't use gallons here.

why are they all so tiny?

Okay, I did not know.

I am already here faggot kys

Hey mexico is colllege over there free? I have family who i thought are poor as fuck but most of them are going to college.

I only pay $20 or so USD per semester so yeah, literally free.

Pretty bizzare (but not really) that all supermarkets on this planet somehow look absolutely the same .

Damn thats cheap. The last time i visted mexico was when 1 dollar = 10 pesos. What happened?

How is with safety in Mexico? I'm especially asking about CDMX. Also, I heard that Mexicans are really friendly people is it true?

Litro most likely

>What happened?

*For your loli girlfriend
Fixed for you

I don't live in CDMX but as usual, just don't be a retard. Don't go out by yourself, and I'd suggest going out with a local friend/relative whatever instead of venturing by yourself.

People in general are nice, and we're not like chinks who love to scam and trick tourists (in general)

I have never understood the Mexican obsession with shrimp ramen.

>Every fucking time
That happens here too

I prefer chicken.

Do you guys have the chorizo fritos? Those are god-tier.

I think they should still be around, yeah. I prefer the basic salty ones though

Sure, but what about the question? My mexican market sells more flavors of shrimp instant noodles than my asian market does.

Shrimp flavors are the ones that are spicy, and Mexicans love spicy shit. There isn't really spicy chicken, and the spicy beef is pretty uncommon.

But shrimp/spicy shrimp are always everywhere.

Mexico is like America but poor.
You roads and building style

yikes

It's far from being the shittiest kind of bus.

Which aisle is the coke and hookers on?

whats up with the bucket?

Trash can

Mexico City is relatively safe, it's a great city to visit.

In UNAM they pay 1 peso per semester, really, the receipt worths more than the colegiatura.

Do they do that as some sort of joke or irony or what?
