There are oral surgeons too, like my dentist is one he does implants and people who got fucked up by accidents. Generally most dentists just do extractions when it comes to surgery if it's more complicated they send you to a specialist.

Dentistry is one of the things not really covered by Medicare or basic insurance. For whatever reason, the moment they need to look at your mouth, they start drilling for your wallet. It's fucking ridiculous, to be honesty. Greedy fucking pricks, half of them only work two or three days a week and still rake it in.
