If Skyrim's combat was literally anything other than spamming one attack then quaffing 30 potions and repeat then the game could have bee something

low bar. Also it's virtually identical to Oblivion except with the addition of dual-wielding (mostly useless) and crossbows (which were pretty cool). I don't know if shield bashing was in Oblivion but if not , that too I guess.

Yeah, honestly I did enjoy FO4 just because playing it wasn't a grind. Shame everything else about the game was terrible. At least Far Harbor wasn't bad, the locale was amazing and the visuals were done absolutely right. Shame about Nuka World, I really love raiders and was disappointed with NW, it just felt like they didn't know what to do with what could have been great source material

only Beth could have ruined such a good idea.

Compared to the other TES games, where Morrowind was the absolute worst mixture of clumsy FPS action and pen and paper dice rolling. On their own those two things can be fun, but together it just does not make sense.

Morrowind should have just had KOTOR style pseudo turn-based combat. That was actually pretty fun and was released the same year I think.
