I've met really cool people but not many my age. Almost all of them grew up in the Reagan years or even earlier. Second best thing is definitely the Vietnamese people. They're based as fuck and have some surprisingly hot women.
The worst is really drug users and homeless people.

If I had to say the things I miss most about it was the mountains and weather, and amount of activities you could do. I miss the hiking and surfing the most. There were a few special days in the winter my last year there where I could surf in the morning and then hike in snow in the mountains the same afternoon.
