About two thirds of the village (~200 of ~300) are newcomers from the last few decades, most from the local area or the wider Upper Carniola. There's one nice old couple who moved to America when they were a young couple, then returned about a decade ago, although they're from somewhere else originally, too. Everyone in the village is Slovene.
