But we make fun of people that flirt with each other all the time, or rather we did when I was in HS.

But pretty much everyone flirts with people, even if they have a gf/bf, it's more part of school culture in US

P.S. But, I heard that in tha USA, sometimes people whom are merely "flirting" can start to be considered as a pair (like they DATED; went out together), whilst in Brazil you need to consummate the affair physically first - with kissing, for exemple - there are some linguo for that.

In normal countries, people in high school are very busy preparing for university entrance exams, but you wouldn't know that since most of your mutt friends never go to college/university, so they can waste time getting STDs and destroying their liver.
