日本海
Only Koreans are butthurt.

Why my city is marked there?

Are you the same guy that keeps posting three page long copy pasta in every Korean thread?
I think the Q*ng referred to it as the Southern Sea (relative to their previous borders).

No, I'm not that retard.
I probably hate him more than Koreans, but this Sea of Japan/ East Sea bullshit is one of the few things that pisses me off
because the only real reason they want to change the name is that they are just butthurt.

I mean I guess I'd be inclined to agree. It'd be like if Americans tried to rename the Gulf of Mexico to Atlantic Gulf or some shit like that. Though to be fair we didn't exactly rape and kill the burgers.

but we raped and killed you in 1848 :)

Korea BTFO

>Chinese maps show Kurils belonging to Japan
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

why is China so benevolent?

日本海 (Sea of Japan).
One of the problems with 東海 (East Sea) is that China refers to East China Sea as 東海 as well, it's confusing. It's absurd to take the trouble to rename a wev ll established unique name a confusing name just because Korea is butthurt against everything related to0 Japan.

Why is Tsingtao a part of China? And why is it called "Qingdao"?
Simply outrageous! I shall send an expeditionary force at once!

isn't Willy criticized a bit too much?

Maybe he is being blamed for too many bad things. But he wasn't a very good monarch to begin with; not very savy at political matters, and had a lack of self-esteem (bad upbringing).
He tried to compensate too much, and didn't listen to good advice.

yeah l can't really make sport of him, l read a lot of others concerned with the Weltpolitik held the same policy as he did, plus he himself doesn't really seem to be a dyed-in-the-wool psychopath from his statements.

Yes, I would describe him as a being "clumsy" as a politician. He wasn't really supposed to become the leader, but his predecessor Friedrich III. died after 100 days from cancer. He was unprepared to deal with the delicate balance of power in Europe during that time. He fired Bismarck, who predicted WW1 40 years before it even started, and became influenced by military hard-liners too much - much like other european leaders.

To stay on topic, the name used here is also "Japanisches Meer" - I guess because it was used for a long time, and it stuck.

i honestly dont mind it being called the sea of japan since its just a name. as far as i know the japs only used it to start dumb shit, rape people, take resources, and get bombed. i never lived during those times so i have no real emotional attachments to what things are called nowadays but i can see why older folks are salty about whatever dumb shit the japs have been up to this past century. honestly i like the japs except for their degenerate sex robots and whatever excuse they have for creating such abominations.

There was no agenda by Japanese to make the sea called Sea of Japan.
It was just that the name has become dominant because Japan has become relevant.
I seriously don't care whatever you call the sea or anything in your country.

Friedrich iii looks like he'd be in Sabaton.
things like the Daily Telegraph Affair show his innocence in a way.

l don't really know much about the problem on the Sea of Japan, all l know is that it was at first called by a Portuguese or Spanish sailor what they want people to call, and it was gradually eclipsed by the Sea of Japan as the country's status rose in the late 19c.

2bh l'm pretty sure most of Koreans don't care about it in the slightest. although l have some sympathy with them in some ways, it's hard for me to not find it stupid, their argument will simply degrade their reputation.

If Japan didn't exist between the Eurasian continent and the pacific ocean, the sea of Japan become like this (pic related)
That is the reason why that ocean is called "the Japan sea".
The people who can't understand this are feeble-mindedness.

i can understand that. if something is used more so by the japanese, might as well call it the japanese sea. whatever they use it for is their deal unless it involves dumb gay shit that causes problems for other countries which obviously i have no serious issues with since i personally have not been affected by any of it. from what i understand, a bunch of older koreans hated the japanese so much for shit that happened almost a century ago that the butthurt bled into the younger generations effectively enough to leave something equivalent to a japanese shitstain on underwear bought from a secondhand store. obviously it depends on who you are or whether or not you want to buy it, but i suppose antiques still have value to some people. i remember last time i visited japan i noticed a lot of anime enthusiasts and hentai mags. its a shame to see a country's main selling point for tourists to be hentai and anime. this might also explain that no other country does it better than the japs in terms of adding so many layers of weird twists to pornography. enough in fact, to give nobody in your country the satisfaction of anything real or quality enough to start a family. the japanese are nothing to worry about if their birth rate is going to drop low enough to import migrants from third world countries to balance things out. ill just stop talking and leave you with a minor caveat of what happens when quality is sacrificed for "relevance". be careful my dude, and love your country.

Your birthrate is lower than ours man.
I know there are a lot of weird things in Japan including porn, but I personally don't watch any anime nor watch weird porn, and my life here is quite
boring and normal desu.
So I couldn't care less about those weird things because it doesn't affect my life, and I believe what's important is what you look for in your life.
Anyway, I understand the resentment the Koreans got against Japan, and I have nothing against Koreans in general,
but things like changing the name of sea just because it has Japan is too much to me.
Well, but still I don't really care about the issue to be honest.

I dont care if it is called sea of Japan.
Its just name.
