Invest it widely in lots of promising small companies.
Brandon Allen
And how to spot them?
David King
I'm 19 too and have a very similar amount (26k) I put 20k into stocks (ETFs) and kept 6k as buffer
Adam Harris
>spending nothing
Evan Murphy
This is gonna sound dumb but to foreigners have index funds? I've only heard of index funds tied to american indexes. I suppose you could buy american stocks but I don't know if stock brokers sell so openly to foreigners.
If so, put 10k into an index fund. The average return is dependent on gdp growth and at least in america averages out to 7% return yearly.
My dad paid off my mortgage yesterday, love ya dad
Joseph Wood
I did the same thing then I blew half of it traveling around the world, would recommend
Dylan Harris
yes of course you can buy index funds as a non American too why would it bee limited to America?
Levi Hernandez
Boeing, Nvidia, weed.
Nolan Jackson
I dunno, that's why I said it's gonna sound dumb. I know literally nothing about investing as anything but an american.
Caleb Williams
You're a dumbass. Spend and travel the world, have experiences while you can. Money won't buy you that when you're older.
redpilled
Jordan Peterson
I thought the same thing tbf. I thought there might be legal issues that would make trading in US stocks from the UK more difficult.
Liam Brooks
Cities you recommended? Don't every cities all rook same?
Cameron Green
None, because I don't have money to travel the world. Okay actually I do, somewhere, but I was saving it like a dumbass, instead I'm going to travel this summer.
Nathaniel Hill
I earned my first 2k ever last week and already spend half.
Anthony Stewart
Send it to me. I'll double, hell triple it in a month
Jonathan Stewart
>Spend and travel the world, have experiences while you can. >come back broke and slave away
Noah Cox
eastern poland is tomorrow's california invest quick before the end of the gold rush
Christian Lewis
>mfw pole shift happens and this becomes a reality
not OP NO. go for BTC mining, very good venture men))
Oliver Campbell
Outperforming the market is such a difficult task it's best not to bother with it if you don't know for 95% sure that you will get a higher return than the market. Europe etf's now are pretty heavily discounted with a PE ratio lower than 10 :^)
Brayden Jones
Read OP, he's already slaving away. 20 000 € won't save you from wage slavery.
Lincoln Cook
You can either spot them or you can't. If you can't spot them yet, keep your money in safer investments such as index funds or blue chip stocks. Immerse yourself in financial news, current affairs, politics and learn about the modern economy, how it's performing, why it's performing how it is. Study specific industries and learn the challenges they face. Once you've got a broad enough knowledge you'll start to recognise when someone is on to a good idea.
Lincoln Phillips
might take a trading course as a side thing, could be fun don't want some investor managing my money in the future anyway
Hunter Rodriguez
if you start investing early on and consistently add money every month you'll be able to retire early
Ethan Fisher
Yeah with 20k €, maybe he'll retire at age 45, after having lived like a dog for 25 years, instead of 62. Still better to travel the world while young.
Colton Gomez
you don't need to live like a dog, you just need to think about your finances a bit and not waste it on stupid shit. I agree spending it on things like travel is worth it if you really want it, but I have no real desire for anything, and the few vacations I had yet were more stress than anything for me. So it's pointless to spend it just for the sake of it.
Jordan Thomas
You can travel pretty well on a budget too. No need to spend 20k or even 10k already. 1k or 2k is more than enough to travel for at least three weeks almost anywhere in Asia and Eastern Europe starting from Germany. Investing and saving is important and if you don't start early you might never start or learn discipline to control frivolous spending.
>No need to spend 20k or even 10k already That's true, I don't think he should spend the entire 20k. But let's not kid ourselves into thinking he'll live comfortably by investing 20k, that's just a small headstart.
Liam Powell
Still a good start is a nice beginning and a good step into financial security for the future
Nolan Turner
First of all you don't ask Jow Forums for advice
Josiah Phillips

dont buy meme currencies, dont go to stockmarket, dont do stupid shit, play safe, dont spend, earn as much as you can
Nathaniel Gray
as long as you're unsure what to do with them, put then in a global etf
Nathaniel Bailey
don't take financial advice from 4channel
Nathaniel Ortiz
I would spend 6000 € on a first class train ticket on the trans Siberian railway, which goes from Moscow to Vladivostok. I'd spend maybe 2000 € on good scotch, vodka, and wine. Maybe 1000€ i on high quality caviar which would go well with your blin and sour cream, maybe 1000 € at the casino for the dopamine rush, 100 € on a cigar. I'd also buy a dog and a book shelf for your 100 copies of the master and margarita
