There was that environmental protest in a bunch of cities since it was on a week day so the kids didn't have to go to school. Generally, though, protests aren't very common. There's demonstrations during strikes which the public sector syndicalist parasites love and I guess the Catholics who hold signs and pray to show opposition to abortion count as protesters, I hear those are quite vigorous in how often they demonstrate.
