Do you love Japan?

Yes, I do love Japan

it's difficult to say without having gone through a handful of first hand experiences, but I can say for certain that I love its art though, and through it I'm getting invested in its culture and history

what does it say?

Avoid Kinkakuji unless you really want THAT photo to show to your friends, Ryoanji is a waste of money, if you have good legs go to fushimiInari jinja, it's surreal for the first 20 minutes, then surreal for the next 2 hours as you wonder when it'll end and never does

I'd recommend you commit soduku lmao

it's a recipe for a simple homemade dish from a southern italian city:
the spaghettata
spaghetti scarpara (for 6 people)
fry one clove of garlic in oil, add 600 grams of peeled tomatoes and cook them.
add 600g of spaghetti al dente, a handful of parsley, black pepper, shaved parmsean and hot pepper.

Kinkakuji is absolutely epic imo, l go there whenever l go to Kyoto

mamma mia grazie mi piace Firenze!!!

an actual suggestion! thank you!

>Kinkakuji is absolutely epic imo
I live litterally next to it
Tell me what's so great about it?
If by chance you don't drown in the sea of Chinese tourists all you get is the temple which you spend 10 minutes observing and that's about it

np intbro!

I don't really know why the other vietnamese guy answered for me but I appreciate the enthusiasm

>Tell me what's so great about it?
just gaze at the roof of 檜皮葺 of Kinkakuji and the ground floor of 禅宗様 which is so goddamn dark that it gives you an impression that it vertically sandwiches, oppresses, absorbs and kills the ephemeral brightness of the 2nd and the 3rd gilded cage. and you'll then realize Kinkakuji is an instantaneous frame of transition from extravagance to Wabi Sabi. Kinkakuji is a bretty paradoxical building in that sense : gold is Wabi Sabi. it shouldn't be protagonized despite its self-description of its appellation. l can give you many other arguments but can't be arsed.

it's a personal taste after all tho.

although l said "the self-description of its appellation", "Kinkakuji" is nothing more than just a sobriquet. but you get my point right

I suggest you to go to Nigata, this was my hometown and has great nature.
You can feel rural atmosphere of 1980s in Japan.
There are a lot of nice guys there, your trip must be comfortable.

thank you! that looks majestic

thank you as well, when I have the time I love chilling in "smaller" cities that give back a truer feeling of their country
