You have a disillusioned way of perceiving the Latin America as a whole if that's an unironic question.

normies here listen mostly to reggaeton and trap. Only old people kinda listen to mariachi but it is kind of a niche demographic

youtu.be/wTlxgcsyq-s

for me it is old american styles, blues, boogie woogie, rock and roll and country, pre bong invasion (except the rolling stones, they were pretty based)

Do BRs still listen to sertanejo universitario or is it all rap now?

yes we do, what else do you want to know

Anime openings and Nanahira

yeah, a bunch. rap isnt that big, only leftists 420 like it a lot.
most people listen to sertanejo uni. and whatever is on the popular radio like 90% of the world.

It does exist, but I don't know anyone who actually listens to that kind of music. Usually they listen to this or ballads. My uncles actually used to play for the local chapel.

Instead, most people listen to the awful Colombian take on mariachi music: "musica popular"
I really wish it went away for good.

kek

post traditional music from your countries pls

That shit is horrible, partly because it's produced by country bumpkins

is either that or salsa and reggaetón. Why isn't other genres that popular down there?
I only know very very little rock bands or other genres in Colombia

here youtube.com/watch?v=rvho1NhjViM

pretty good desu

Yeah, some people produce that kind of music here too and they seem to be popular in the middle of nowhere, Colombia. I think these guys are from Colombia
youtube.com/watch?v=ARmufg6oWVM
I wonder the same.
I am not familiar with Colombian rock either because I've never heard about it. As for metal, it is a niche music genre and, as far as I'm aware, it's mostly Colombia's particular kind of brutal death metal, death metal, thrash and some black metal.

kek

In a few hours I'll have to present colombian music to my study group. What should I show them?
