I'm confused, the Swedish Government has clearly stated on their twitter that they do in fact have go-go zones. But you keep insisting that go-go zones are the same thing as no-go zones, even though the Swedish Government says they don't have no-go zones. Are you accusing the Swedish Government of lying?

No-go zones was a thing in Stockholm suburbs a couple of years ago. Atleast that is what the inhabitants in the suburbs claimed. Our public broadcaster had a program on it.

The original definition of a 'no-go zone/area' was a place where police officers wouldn't enter at all because it was simply too dangerous and so the area was effectively lawless. This has never been the case anywhere in Sweden, it's never been police policy to just leave an area to it's own devices.

But there are some places where police are instructed to no go to alone and where ambulances/firemen might need escorts because people might throw rocks at them. Like a decade ago these areas had considerably less policing than they do now, not totally lawless but the police just didn't have the resources to focus on these areas enough. Nowadays they explicitly go to these areas so there can be more order and local support to improve the community.

but ghetto is a term everybody understands, and there are ghetto areas in every developed countries, the problem with the no go zone term is that it doesn't state the reality and clueless americans will then spread the facts there are neighborhoods in europe where it's forbidden to enter if you're not a swarthy migrant or that people are walking by with ben laden tshirts like i already heard, soemetimes i wonder if you really hate us to purposely confusing news channels viewers in teh states.
