I believe that the US is a land filled with opportunities compared to Europe.
US brands and franchise. US is more focused internationally than Europe, which is more local focus. In some countries the US competes and even beats local brands in some countries. The country still has many negatives even with such massive success.
Pros:
1. There is so much land here and houses you can buy.
2. Low taxes.
3. Friendly and nice people. I've met a lot of nice people here and they helped me a lot.
4. Easier to get rich.
5. Beautiful natural environment.
6. Easy to find communities from your native culture. As a Syrian, I thought it would be difficult to find other Arabs like myself, but surprisingly, I found an Arab community pretty easily.
Cons:
1. Two party system. People lean to the other party only if the ruling party screws up
2. Shootings. Though I'm glad that I've never experienced one, unless you would include a guy committing suicide outside of the school's garden to be a school shooting.
3. Race conflict. I hear so much news about it. As a Syrian I haven't experienced such misfortune yet, but I hope I never well.
4. Too many insurance companies. So many advertisement from insurance companies it's unbelievable. I don't trust them at all. Don't even trust them. You better off not waste your money on such scams. Sadly, a lot of people do fall for such scams since the market prays on the uneducated.
Even though with such difficulties, I still think you would gain more profit in the US compared to other countries.
