I went to the local library for the first time a few months ago, I did a 180 and came back home. Homeless people and old farts literally in every corber sleeping, spacing out or reading the newspaper. I didn't find an empty seat so I went back home.

>search online database
>semi-obscure book that i'm deadset on reading not available
>buy book online
>repeat

sounds comfy

I would go there but my sister works at a book shop so our entire house is pretty much a library

You can't imagine the smell (I'm not memeing).

Two weeks ago. I'm going today to pick up a couple books I have placed on reserve.

borrowing book and go back home and read is recommended
yeah it's not good place to stay

About twice a week, last time was Saturday.
I always reserve books on their website so I don't have to walk around and search for them. I can just pick them up at the reserved books area.

I only use my schools library.
Otherwise I just buy cheap used copies of whatever I need on the street or at antiquaries.
(Though last week I did buy a bunch of new books at a book fair.)

Today.
Pic related is our library. I think the designer had a stroke while drawing it kek.

But they have pretty much all the books you can possibly need and all of the libraries in Sweden use the same system so you can order books from all over the country. It's nice.

there isn't any local library where i live

My local library is tiny (I live in small town) so I buy my books instead. I have a few.

I actually often buy my own books

stacking them like that isn't good for the spines in the long run

I literally don't remember. Must have been at least four years ago.

I have a shitload of books, but I don't have a good chair or sofa to seat down and read. That's why I went with my copy of Dracula to the library, I wanted to read there. Anyhow, now that I'm living in a bigger apartment I plan to buy one.

>afraid to show the titles
Lmao, what have you got there mate?

Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan.

Holy shit, that's a lot.

I know. I'm gonna move around some stuff so I can fit them all.

It's been a while. My city has become completely infested with Afghanis/Hazars, and it was already filled to the brim with other disgusting immigrants, so nowadays I just buy all the books I am interested in instead. Spent about 2500-3000€ last year, and will end up doing the same this year.
