Ye, I had problems with the three Balkan ones
I tried to choose the most accurate one out of them all,
Bulgaria and NM doesn't have much connection with Eastern Europe, they don't interact with Ukraine, or Poland, though their languages are quite similar to core Eastern Euro states like Russia. They have more cultural and political interaction with rest of the Balkan states. Same can be partially said for Serbia, though they could possibly swing to Eastern Europe, i'd see less of a problem in that. I also wouldn't strictly classify them as med, which is why I put Med/Southern Europe in the Legend

There's no 100% perfect one but this is closer:
Blue: (Core) Western Europe
Yellow: Western Mediterranean
Green: Northern Europe
Orange: Central Europe or Transitional (or whatever you want to call it, it's not Eastern in any case)
Red: (Core) Eastern Europe
Cyan: South Eastern Europe

Also:
Blue+Yellow+Orange+Green = West (Protestant+Catholic)
Red+Cyan = East (Orthodox+some Muslim islands)

Even so, it's mostly historical as religion doesn't matter that much and everything is globalized and Westernized now.
