hedonists out

But what is wrong with being hedonist ?

Why agree to be a grey citizen just the same like a million other people? It wouldn't be better if they spend time of the life to write a novel that will last a thousand years? Recording great music, painting a timeless piece of art , making great film, making unique inventions, making extraordinary discoveries or creating a new philosophy ?

Only here and now does it matter, what will happen after my death has nothing to do with me and my life. I would prefer to experience it myself than dream that my eventual child will be somebody extraordinary , someone remembered by society.

Creating a piece of art requires way more efforts and sufferings than living a wage slave life.

Most people are grey for hedonistic reasons.

You'd better think about it while you have a choice.

Most people in western countries live meaningless lives of debauchery and self-annihilation. There is no appreciation for things that transcend the physical realm and the "here and now".

>Only here and now does it matter, what will happen after my death has nothing to do with me and my life.
Natural selection will disagree with you. Those that are best capable of not only planning ahead of time but planning across many generations in order to achieve a grand goal are the ones who succeed the most, probably one of the reasons why Islam is currently taking over Europe.

Already posted on Jow Forums but here you go.

P.S. I'm NatSoc.

>Islam is currently taking over Europe.

You'd better take an interest in the situation in your own country.Christians in Brazil are not better in any way than muslims in Western Europe.

>does't know anything at all about the country outside of internet memes
>collective judgement

You don't seem very rational. And Christians were the ones who elected Bolsonaro, and our crimes rates have been dropping consistently since. And I don't think those drug cartels killing each other are very practicing Christians, and your IQ is certainly below room temperature if you believe those are murders are coming from practicing Christians, or even the average Brazilian.

Either way, I actually want Europeans to embrace a hedonistic culture because Europeans have caused so much race-based havoc and destruction I think it's only right if you're completely replaced by anything that isn't you.

Life deprives of the illusions of religious idealism.

Religion is a manifestation of a certain mentality and customs, but it does not have a special power to change people. The prophet shows the moon, but most people still look at the prophet's finger. Therefore, religion more often becomes a manifestation of hypocrisy than spirituality.

People are looking for spirituality, but I think it will have less and less to do with a religion as we know it, which is hierarchical and institutional.

Is there really a "religious community" in today's trend of any religion? I can not imagine a situation in which attending a temple, listening to a priest (who does not even speak some really interesting sermons), common anonymity (because I do not know the guy standing next to me) would create in me a mental comfort and a sense of security from the fact of being together with people in this place.

Retarded test

>Life is suffering and fundamentally meaningless
Who the fuck puts these two together? What I agree with one but not with the other one?
>Without music, life would be a mistake.
What the fuck does this have to do with philosophy?
>Without faith in a God we cannot be content.
Philosophy where?
This implies that you believe in a single great being (even if you responded no to that question before), and then asks you whether people should have faith in it
What if I don't acknowledge its existence as I previously responded?

My primary philosophy is Daoism + some personal adjustments that don't conflict with the core concepts of it.

(1/1)
>I would rather be given an expensive car than save the life of a starving child.
Depends who the child is.
>I would rather be in a sexual relationship without intimacy than be in an intimate relationship without sex.
If she's loyal to me then a sexual relationship is preferable.
>A world without colour is far darker than a world without order.
The fuck?
>If I had to choose: I would save myself instead of a loved one.
Depends on external factors.
>The ends usually justify the means.
But do the means guarantee the ends? If yes, then sure do whatever it takes.
>When making a decision the underlying reasoning is always more important than the consequences.
But effective reasoning not take into account the consequences?
>No actions are inherently moral or immoral.
Shit. I think morality is what people say it is, so I guess that means it's not "inherent" to the action...
>I prefer friendships that help me grow as a person as opposed to ones that are exciting.
Stupid question, makes no sense.
>My own prosperity matters more to me than the happiness of those around me.
Depend on who they are, I suppose this means close acquaintances/family? Prosperity should mean the ability to make those around me happy. If I view them as being one in the same how can I say one matters more than the other?
>A society without marriage would be better than a society without divorce.
Whether or not one is better than the other depends on shit independent to the question of access to marriage/divorce.

(2/2)
>I will usually put my family, my community or my people above my own personal goals.
This question is surprisingly complicated.
>Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.
All education is the education of the mind. "Educating the heart" is meaningless/not even possible.
>I would rather live alone in luxury than in poverty with friends and family.
So either I'm living alone in luxury, and the status of my friends and family are unknown. Or, I'm living in poverty and my friends and family are also living in poverty. It kind of feels like in choosing the latter I would be inflicting suffering onto them just to fulfill my own desire to be close to them. Former it is.
>Societal progression should be carried out slowly and in small, incremental steps.
Depends. I have no way of knowing which is better.
>It is foolish to let emotions influence your decisions.
It depends what's being decided on... So I guess as a general principle I disagree with it.
>Moral statements are statements of truth or fact more than they are statements of emotion or desire.
My head hurts.
>Scientific research is more important than art and music.
I guess I do believe that scientific research should be prioritized over art and music. Does that mean I think it's "more important"? Looks like it.

Why is Poland an inverted Indonesian/Monaco flag?

But Poland is a real country with a long history, not a former British colony the size of a large city, so the comparison is in favor of Poland.

It's about romanticism. If you couldn't live without music, you're just childish and also hedonistic
