that's a division symbol

1, I think

1

Yes
You have to do division or multipilation first then continue doing rest

This is why the USSR never got to the moon

1

It's 9-3x3+1

This is will , vary if you solve the fraction or the division before , just like the 8 thing it's another loophole based on what rule you follow

Attached: image.jpg (202x250, 4K)

Nah he's right. 3 * 1/3=1
3/ 1/3 = 9

It's 1

Did you guys learn to use the ÷ symbol at school? Here we use :

1

Attached: 1564901551837.png (645x729, 90K)

9-3/(1/3)+1
9-(3x3)+1
9-9+1
=1

1

It's ":" here as well

that's not a multiplication symbol, that's a division symbol

Same here. Still you see this American writing quite often.

Damn

For every question out there the answer is Jesus Christ.

I'm an idiot. It's of course 1.

What was the point of all that maths when you forget it all anyway
Anyway the answers 1

Is this symbol even well defined? I've only used it in maybe grade 3, 4, 5 and 6. After that we were not allowed to use it in math.

2 and a half Xd

9-3/(1/3)+1
=9-9+1
=1

Divide/multiply before addition/subtraction

So:

9-(3/(1/3))+1=4

7

Damn, I wonder how many software developers are here.

1
If you can't solve this you're dumber than random SEAnigger from literal where island at the edge of civilization.

based retard

Brainlet af

which island?

This is not ally as the case , there are too sequences to follow , and Botha re correct

6

Hehe. Lots of software developers and engineers.

Lombok

why yes, my github is full of half finished react native todo list apps
why do you ask?

9-3/(1/3)+1
9-(9+1)
9-10
= -1

21

>9-3/(1/3)+1
>9-(9+1)

Fucking how?
It should be 9-9+1=1
that 1 is clearly outside of brackets.

its 1

Remember this?
(a/b) ÷ (c/d) = (a/b) * (d/c)

9 - 3 ÷ (1/3) + 1
= 9 - 3 * (3/1) + 1
= 9 - 9 + 1
= 1

Fractions first, division later.
Brackets first, multiplication later.
Just another case of symbol confusion...

Problem?

7

It's 1.
If you're putting a division before a fraction you can calculate it as a fraction like 3/(1/3) which equals 9.
It all depends if you divide for or after the fraction, I say it's after.

SOLVE THIS RETARDS

Attached: 1521708077382.jpg (367x255, 18K)

exactly.
Result is 1

56
anyone?

18/4 = 4.5

-562,000331

Apple = 0
Banana = 0
Pineapple = 0

I calculate it as (3/1)/(1/3) which equals 9/1=9

9-3=6
6÷1=6
6/3=2
2+1=3
3

I’m a retard and forgot the division

That would equal 1,5

wait this is impossible isn't it

You gotta be shitting me.

I don't give a fuck about you people
I'm pissed off this thread exists so you can break your skulls open trying to solve this shit, good luck with that

why does it bother you
Based

9 - (3*3) + 1 = 1

How and why 9?
It's 1.

Sometimes I don't know if you guys are trolling posting for the keks or if you are actually retarded, it's funny and sad at the same time.

1, obviously.
what is this, facebook?

based soviet maths

Cause hes a brainlet and probably tought 9 was the answer

1

I mean, how do you guys get another number other than 1?
ISHYGDDT IRL

ok then, answer this one

Attached: figure it out.jpg (600x403, 52K)

stays balanced? equal amount of displacement (assuming same radius).

idk

9/

Attached: Capture.jpg (539x406, 27K)

nevermind I was wrong, you need to build a free-body eqn

9-3*(1/3)^-1+1
9-3*3+1=1
cause (1/3)^-1=(3^-1)^-1=3

9-9+1=/=9-(9+1)

I can see how people might fuck up and get -1.

No one would type it this way, this is one of the reasons () exist and why you don't use a ÷.
You will never see a question like this in a textbook.

2

Attached: cool.png (600x600, 127K)

it's still valid and correct. just illegible

9-3=6
1/3 of 6=2
2+1=3

Let’s have a hard one next time.

I'll tell you the answer for a small fee of 2$

9?

1

after 4th grade nobody uses : anymore and writes everything as fractions

Please excuse my dear aunt Sally.

9 - 3 / (1/3) + 1

9 - ( (3/1) / (1/3) ) + 1

9 - ( (1/3) * (1/3) + 1

9 - 1/9 + 1

9/1 - 1/9 + 1

81 / 9 - 1 /9 + 1

80/9 + 1
