Canada should buy Greenland. The people of Nunavut and Greenland share a similar language and culture, it would fit well as our fourth territory. Plus, it would resolve the Hans Island dispute with Denmark.

>our fourth territory
Pretty sure you already have more than that.

Amazing. So Indians can flock there and open shitty convenient stores?

Canada has 3 territories. The Yukon, The North West Territory, and Nunavut. Only 3. Canada doesn't have any random islands that are their own thing (well except PEI but it's a province).

Based post

3 territories, 10 provinces

>The people of Nunavut and Greenland share a similar language and culture
They do?

OK and then we'll buy you.

Uh, ok, I didn't know there was a difference.

They're both considered Inuits and speak languages in the same family. Our eskimos fit in with them as well.

There is a difference. Territories have a high level of sovereignty.

Province is like are territories before they become states. Here they have to meet certain criteria like population size and then the people their vote to be a state otherwise it's only a territory which doesnt have voting congressional representation but still can vote for the president and are u.s. citizens.

How much do you think it would cost? they were offered $100mil before, so have to keep inflation in mind.

>all these states have equal representation with California, Florida, NY and Texas
>Puerto Rico is still a territory
what the fuck

Why don you buy Alaska?

America has too much pride to give it up. They'll cry for ages about 49 not being an even number and probably invade us.

>$100mil
>$0.04 / m2
Even a jew wouldn't try such a scam.

That was in 1946 money

That's only 14 billion today

What was Trump offering, anyways?

Nothing since hes only talked about it in private. He hasn't even tweeted about it. Supposedly he even said Denmark wouldn't sell.

Nothing, apparently he just floated the idea in conversations. Not the first time someone thought about buying it.
