Learning Spanish and I just wanted to know how one would say "South Patagonia" as if it were a country or region's name. I see Sud a lot as a prefix (eg Sudamerica, Sudafrica) but I also see La America del sure used

Sudacapata

I'd say "Patagonia sur " or maybe "el sur de patagonia" depending on the context. I don't really know though since I'm a chi who only speaks Spanish to family and I've never really studied it academically

Isn't the south of Patagonia just called Tierras del fuego? (Lands of fire)

Sur de la Patagonia

Its Patagonia del sur

>Patagonia del sur
This sounds wrong to me. It sounds like "Patagonia of the south"

New Israel

América del sur=Sudamérica=Suramérica.
En éste caso suena mejor Patagonia del Sur que surpatagonia

Also this, kalergi plan

SüdAmerika?

I think "Patagonia austral" sounds better. Also here in Chile we divide southern chile in "sur" and "sur austral"

This is the correct answer op

How is the Spanish accent in the Tierra del Fuego region? Is it a distinct sound or just like Chilean/Argentinian?

I have a friend from Puerto Natales. No difference in accent from what I can tell. Older people and people who live on the countryside (i.e. gauchos) have a stronger accent.

In the argentinian side they speak virtually the same as in Buenos Aires. There's no patagonian accent since it's two different countries

*dies in poverty hoping for industrialization*

why so violent?

>he said after crossing the frontier to get attended for free at the argentine hospital and studying for free at the argentine university because he's poor
And still you'll never get the Patagonia you dirty mapuche flaite. You're confined to your receding coast forever

Eat shit

>América del Sur
Hace mucho tiempo que no escuchaba ése término.

Cringe

Because I knew this is the reply I was getting, I give you the classic argie national socialist, also known as peronista, that is responsible for their history in the last 70 years

Didn't read lol

Rioplatense is the best version of Spanish. My Spanish is shitty, but I like using "sh" for "ll" to mess with the Mexicans. I would love to learn Spanish fluently in Argentina.

Dollar is quite high currently, you cand spend 5 days for pennies

I have noticed that. The problem is that flights to BsA or Santiago are super expensive.

I wouldn't visit because what's the point but if I were you I'd save from here to march because that is low season, hope it helps

lol stupid chi

So after March is the time to visit? Your winter time?

our autumn, best time
