Do we have any Iranians on here? I have a question regarding Shia Imams
Specifically, how do they, and clerics in general make a living? Like let's say there are Imams who recite prayer during Jumu'ah and may get a salary as employees of the Mosque, but what about simple scholars, do they make money by selling their jurisprudence books?
People like the late Imam Khomeini is a good example of a scholar who is popular and thus can afford a relatively financially stable life. What happens when Shia mullahs don't ever reach popularity, what do they and their families survive on? What was the situation like before the revolution and the situation after.
Do imams get paid by politicians to promote them, how do they make money?
Do Banks in Iran operate like usual western usury-based Bank, or are they all Islamic banks that don't operate on usury and interest? If the later, how do they work exactly? I read various things about it online but i still don't understand how their type of business model makes any money for the Bank itself

iranians seem to have entirely a non-presence on Jow Forums except very occasional diaspora who probably cant answer those questions
I think every country/culture/language get their time in the spotlight on this board from time to time except iran and china, nobody from those places comes here (well, no subsaharan africa either but that's to be expected)
Jason Green
theres one guy, but hes probably not awake yet
Josiah Sullivan
China is because of the Great Firewall. But a handful of people claim to be on proxies from China
Iran is similar, as in their is censorship. But not as pronounced. I think there's a single Iranian poster.
Logan Jones
pretty sure Jow Forums is blocked in iran
Jeremiah Green
What, there was an iranian posting as a namefag many years ago both here and on Jow Forums
Ethan Murphy
censorship increased in Iran after the Green Movement if I'm not mistaken
Christian Hernandez

Christopher Gonzalez

This is the legitimate Iranian Federation and its subdivisions.
They receive money and goods from the Iranian government.

>Also, note that Iranians are smellier than Turks. And where did you hear this from, David-kun?
Joseph Ortiz
What did Moldovans ever do to you?
Obviously, but not every single Friday Prayer Imam in the country? The clerics outside the Theocratic Republic have to make a living somehow, so how do they do it for themselves and then even support families of 7 afterwards? Where do they find the resources, inheritance? Businesses? Donations from congregations?
Matthew Hall
>great firewall Lol there are a fuck ton of Chinese people on the regular internet but almost none of them speak English so they don’t come to Jow Forums
Tyler Davis
compel them all to use Persian language officially and it's smoothed over.
Brody Price
There is no "Persian" language, David-kun. Why are you obsessed with Iran?
Michael Hall
iranians are rangebanned ifirc, and this site is blocked there
Jaxson Green
Why do you think I'm obsessed with Iran? Is it because you are obese?
Christopher Green
Because you are an incel who had to get a English tutoring job in Japan. You have no reason to obsess over Iran.
They aren't forcing anyone to speak Fersian. Many Iranian kings were Azeri, Sorani, Gurani, Lurs, Baloch etc. You are expected to learn and read Fersian if you want to pay taxes. Those minorities in your picture can already speak fluent Fersian, it's just that they have a different mother tongue.
Is that supposed to be ugly? Anyway, fuck off, you are literal cancer because I know who you are.
Does Iran and Turkmenistan have anything going between them? One's Shia quasi-Theocracy and one's Sunni mememuslim dictatorship.
Xavier Miller
Everyone except for s*mites speak Fersian in Iran. You gotta understand that Iran has been a 'multicultural' country for over 2700 years and this is not an exaggeration. The country's name is literally "the land of the Aryans" because it's the home for all Iranians. >The Kurds in 79 were a good example of this "Kurds" were brainwashed by Soviets. I'm still not sure how it happened because Kurdish culture is the literal opposite of communism.
Well, Iran has been like that for over 2700 years, and I doubt it'll change because it hasn't changed much at all.
It's the same thing in India too. Both countries are diverse with different languages and cultures.
Angel Wood
See what i mean? Too many cultures in a country inevitably leads to it's division
>United Nations 2014 >A source
So you are secular person as i understand yes?
Joshua Walker
There was Chubak who basically trashed any reputation Iran migh've had
Luis Nguyen
>Too many cultures in a country inevitably leads to it's division Why do you think it'll split the country?
Chase Collins
I agree, but India doesn't have a feeling of connecting language with their identity because their whole identity is based on a religion rather than some abstract secular interpretations. Sikhs may feel that way because their religion is also mostly spoken in their language. For some reason everything is based on religion in India, which is a good thing if you think about it.
Iran on the other hand.. that's a mixed pot of not really religious, but not really secular either and i'm frustrated because of it.
Because there's all of these foreign powers who try to destabilize a country by arming a certain cultural-linguistic group and the central government can't go to war with their own citizens, unless they're kept in check by sharing a common religion or being a near totalitarian top down police state like Russia for example
It's not that i dont like it, but there's no link or anything to that statistic. It just says "United Nations 2014" on it with colors which could easily be photo shopped
Michael Taylor
India is not really united under one religion.
While I do understand that outsiders will try to convince minorities to fight for their "independence", it won't really work with Iran. Soviets tried to do it with Kurds and it didn't work. Don't forget that Iran has been ruled by Kurds, Azeris and many more for hundreds of years. They literally don't care about living with each other. Right now, kikes are trying to convince Kurds and Azeris to split from Iran but they seriously don't care. I was in Tabriz in 2014 and they all seemed to dislike separatists.
Evan Allen
I know but i wanted to illustrate an example of how identity is based on secular abstraction the more west to India you go.
>they all seemed to dislike separatists. Typical middle eastern double think. They dislike it now because it doesn't suit them, but given the right geopolitical and socio-economic context they will secede at the very first chance they get the moment it's more advantageous for them to do so.
Tyler Robinson
Google is banned in Iran, hence why they don't post here. There used to be a furfag from Iran who posted on here, like 7 years ago or something.
Cameron Myers
i love iranians because they make a lot of subhumans seethe merely by existing. other people from mena are jealous of them because they are more succesful and because their diaspora is more reputable.
Dylan Scott
>to Turkmenistan Do you mean the federated states Khwarazm and Khorasan?
Brayden Ramirez
Iranian on vacation here Fuck usa and fuck wypipo
Levi Morris
I think Iranian Kurds and Iranian Azeris know that they're better off not separating just to join the Peshmerga or Azerbaijanis.

James Martinez
They have no place in Iran but in Turkey
Hunter Flores
Azeris were Iranian bunch before they got Oghuz'd. Just like Turkish people, local Anatolian bunch before Oghuz Turks came and cucked them.
