The reason i call them russian speaking not russian even though they mostly understand estonian is that they are literally mistery meat. Some of them look like literal goblins. Younger russian speaking population speaks pretty good estonian and have integrated pretty well, the old vatnik faggots are the real problem but they will die off in the next 10 years. Estonian overall is one of the most difficult european languages (same for all finnic languages)

Russia does get an unfair amount of boost though since living cost doesnt take into account the condition of living. They assess housing prices for example but since so many apartments in russia are nuke town run down commie block apartments they have rather low rent. Its not really fair to compare them to western housing but it is still compared. Same for produce, clothing, gas and other shit. Thats one of the reason why PPP shouldnt be used when comparing countries in the national scale. Also lol our minimum wage is higher than your average wage

Two foreign languages are mandatory. The first one is English, the second is up for you to choose. Small rural schools often cant find teachers of other languages so they just teach russian. Most people choose german or french. Russian is somewhat useful in Eastern Europe although these days you can pretty much use english everywhere
