What countries in Europe have good employment prospects for programmers and would actually grant a visa to a foreigner? My main specialty is automation, but I'm not completely limited to that field.

>Europe
>good employment prospects for programmers
pick 1

why do you want a visa?

I'd say probably Germany, if you're an expert in industrial automation
Just get an EU visa and see where you find a job offer

Poland

I wouldn't want to work without a visa.

In Germany there is a huge lack of specialists, especially in the it industry. Getting a job as a
"Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung" which is German for programmer, should be easy with the right degrees. Getting a visa should work as well, as long as you can find work.

IT graduates here have 99.8% employment rate
Not sure about the visa tho, are you actually a japanese citizen? We have an agreement with Korea, Japan and the anglo countries that makes it easier to get a work visa but I dont know about the specifics

I think the EU-Japan trade deal includes services so it should be pretty easy to get a VISA here

Yeah but having a japanese poster with good english makes me doubt hes actually a japanese citizen

That's true

I'll be taking Japanese citizenship fairly soon. Not really interested in returning to my third world shithole of a home.

My long term plan is to live in Japan, but I'd like a few years elsewhere to get some fresh experience.

where are you from?

America.

>third world shithole

Here is a huge demand for programmers and you could get work visa very easily, but the wages are a bit low for first world standards

He's not wrong though

Most of America is absolute shit. Everyone in my home state smokes meth, shoots up heroin, or sells both.

States that don't have that problem rape you financially with insane rent prices, plus there are homeless and criminals/police everywhere.

Honestly, it's probably still better than Japan's age-based payment system and rent and health care costs probably aren't as fucked as the US.

Probably Germany or Estonia, the latter practically living off of programmers.

Average wage for programmer is 2400 euro and 1 bedroom apartment in commieblock is around 400-500 euro a month in outskirts of Tallinn, health care is free but has long waiting time.

Why don't you work in Japan

eh,whish i haven't been silly with picking my major and got to be a programmer too, it's such a privileged profession it's not even funny

Pretty similar to here, except I never wait more than 10 minutes at a doctor. The problem is Asians have zero concept of hygiene or sanitation. They'll call patients in one by one, stick their fingers in the mouth and ears, and never wash their hands or equipment or even wear gloves.

Are you sure these doctors are Japanese? I thought Japanese are very clean

Japanese are all about image. They take their shoes off when they enter a building and wear separate shoes in the toilet, but they don't wash their hands after they shit. They don't wash their hands at all, really.

our it industry isnt actually that small. but we do buiness and industrial software only. people ask "why is there no german google" when that is a retarded question. companies are smaller and more specialized here in generell and sell to to other companies rather than the private consumer.

you need to go back smith

Finland has a lot of demand for people with knowledge in programming and automation specifically.
