holy fuck I've spotted a KARA BOĞA lmao
hmmmm
louvre is overrated
the museum of the army is the good one
really? I thought louvre was the best one desu.
interdasting
indeed komşu, are you planning a trip?
well the louvre is just your plain museum about random artists and mona lisa ain't that good when you see it IRL
but the museum of the army in Paris is fucking awesome, not only it has all the military gear of France since the 14th century, and as a Jow Forums autist that makes me coom, but there are giant paintings of giant battles from the XVIIIth/XIXth century and they are giant, when you see them on the internet it looks like nothing, take pic related as an example, IRL the paintings is 4 meters long and 2 meters large, it's very impressive and you got shitons of these giant paintings
Wish I could afford to visit it :(
>IRL the paintings is 4 meters long and 2 meters large
oh that sounds large as hell. i added that to my list, fren. i want to see musee d'orsay the most desu. cuz I like the art pieces it has:d
i took photos for you, fren.
what is this place, jewanons?
Cool. It seems like Turkey does a lot of effort preserving them.
i don't know if it was a sarcasm but yeah, museums are in p good conditions nowadays.
now this is why i came here today; Phanar orthodox college. the red lycee.
I'm not sure what to think of this. One the one hand the ruins were cool and more authentic, on the other hand this might be a better way to preserve the building for future generations. What's its function nowadays?
it's also a museum. not that big, it contains the glass works of the ottoman era. it's in the middle of the city so I guess it's better than a ruin desu.
what does it say in picrel, komşu?
those Greeks knew where to build a college, huh. kino view.
Istanbul looks quite kino, but I don't really like your modern architecture. I'd wish it'd rather look like this.
yeah you're right the modern ones mostly look like shit.
