such is life in Sweden

This is a common occurence

Looks like the hockey world cup wasn't enough humiliation

At least you have a special trait of culture

why are you so mad about a teenager telling you not to destroy the planet we live on?

If i was a Swede i would find out where Greta lives and constantly drive next to their house with a loud rusted out diesel Volvo 740 puffing black smoke

because she's a teenager. everyone knows she's right about the world coming to an end but that doesn't stop them wanting to punch her in her ugly face

Fuck you

You can only be mad at a teenager who ought to be in school instead of being used as a propaganda mean by atrocious human beings.

Is she a national hero in Sweden?

Yeah sure

I love her accent plz put her in porn asap

>drive next to
Drove into her house faggot

There's actually a surprisingly low amount of news related to her here. Like 80% of the stuff I read about her, is through Jow Forums, who them selves read in on some foreign media source.

>nooo you're a kid don't tell me what I don't want to hear

Give her five years and see if she cringes back :)

I'm more concerned about having to watch her ugly face everytime she say something

She's used by a group of people and if you see nothing wrong with that then you're probably mentally challenged.

>She's used by a group of people
You wouldn't have any problem with it if she was used by a group of people saying stuff you agree with

>Jow Forums concern trolling horseshit
Ok now demonstrate that what I said was Jow Forums conspiracy. You literally can't, becuse you're a retard, you're not different from your average Jow Forumstard bot. Yes, I use latin alphabet, wordd, sentences, that doesn't make me a Jow Forumsuser. You're a genuine spaz. Even more if you think that a 16 yo girl will cross atlantic see on a boat to hold a speech before dozens of diplomatic heads on her own.

>You wouldn't have any problem with it if she was used by a group of people saying stuff you agree with
What i agree with is a paradigm where girls and boys have to go to school until 20 years old and keep their wisdom for themselves, if such a paradigm were practicized the world would be in a better shape.

She's the main representative of a global movement that she started. Of course she only says things that are in accordance with the agenda of Fridays for Future. That's what representatives do.

A 16yo teen isn't a revolution leader in the real world, it's not how things work.

>who ought to be in school
Why? I never continued with school after I finished secondary education when I was 16 and I make 17€ an hour.

If you thought that school was supposed to make you rich or wealthy then you didn't understand the purpose of school at first place.

shes literally autistic, she wont cringe.

What's your profession?

Without her, there wouldn't have been 4 Million people demonstrating in 163 countries last weekend. Fridays for Future affected the European elections. The debate around climate change has been accelerated in many countries. Without her, it would not have come this far.

What else do you want to see before it becomes a revolution to you?

>Without her,
Without the western mediatic cartel*. She's a pawn, an unassaultable image, not an ideological corpus. Have you seen her in a debate ? Have you read one of her work ? Yes, me neither, because there aren't any.

>What else do you want to see before it becomes a revolution to you?
Like every known revolutions, military coup. And this won't happen.

>Have you seen her in a debate
Yes, but she rarely does that.
>western mediatic cartel
Sure thing, private media and public broadcasters conspired to make kids skip classes.
>Violence is the only solution
War is bad for the environment, too.

>Yes, but she rarely does that.
No she didn't. She doesn't even know basics in chemistry, how could she debate on that subject. She probably said things before a camera, yes, that's true, but she hadn't debated glibal warming with a scientist, this is false.
>Sure thing, private media and public broadcasters conspired to make kids skip classes.
Medias tremendously highlighted Greta because she's an asperger anglophone from Europe. And yes we can suppose that she has been selected from the beginning but it's rather an hypothesis. The point is that Greta didn't do it, medias did.
>>Violence is the only solution
>War is bad for the environment, too.
I've never said that violence is the solution, second time you're making up thingd I didn't said. I claim, indeed, that revolutions have in almost everytime violent processus. I don't advocate for it, I describe how History sees it. Bolcheviks, Cromwell, Bastille day, Greyers and so on. Revolution are not peaceful by definition.
Do we need one ? I don't care, I don't know. Is it violent ? Maybe not, but History has shown us that revolution process is almost everytime resulting in a blood spilling event.

>No she didn't.
youtube.com/watch?v=QALmsrs2tks
>Medias tremendously highlighted Greta
So? If mass protests arise, the media highlights it. That even happens when nazis do it.
>I've never said that violence is the solution
A "peaceful" military coup? Where in the first world would that be possible?

>youtube.com/watch?v=QALmsrs2tks [Open]
Look the definition of "debate" in the english dictionary.
>So? If mass protests arise, the media highlights it. That even happens when nazis do it.
Except that in every revolutionary movements there is a cradle of thought composed of thinkers, politicians, scientists, philosophs and so on.
>A "peaceful" military coup? Where in the first world would that be possible
here you asked me what was required to classify Greta's move as a revolution, I said that it needed a military coup as it always happened in what we called by a consensus a revolution, I've never said that I wanted it, it's a description, not a proof of will, I don't know why you want to make it personal.

>debate
>a formal discussion on a particular matter in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward
So would you rather say this is an interview? Does that matter so much? The questions still contain opinions.
>In the Fridays for Future movement, there are no thinkers, politicians, scientists, philosophs and so on.
Bold statement, considering they have millions of supporters.
>I've never said that
Alright, then
>Violence is the only way to start a revolution.
would a more precise phrasing. You did indeed not explictly say you want a revolution.

that's okay OP, your shame peaked at Sweden YES

>So would you rather say this is an interview? Does that matter so much? The questions still contain opinions.
Yes it matters, debates and interviews are inherently different. One is often done by two persons who have managed to accumulate knowledge in order to hold an intellectual position, and defend it. Greta is a pupil, a teenager, she doesn't even know the numbers, she doesn't place the arabian emirates on a map, she doesn't know what is necessary to stop the thermo industrial society. she repeats what adults motivated by an agenda teach her, like a robot.
>>In the Fridays for Future movement, there are no thinkers, politicians, scientists, philosophs and so on.
>Bold statement, considering they have millions of supporters.
A revolution isn't a matter of supporters, but rather a bunch of people ready to die for the cause. After their demonstration, these people go back home and use electricity mainly produced by carbon combustion. There might be philosophers/intellectuals in the pack but they're mainly followers, sheeple, not real actors.
>>I've never said that
>Alright, then
>>Violence is the only way to start a revolution.
>would a more precise phrasing. You did indeed not explictly say you want a revolution.
For the third time, revolutions proceed in a bloodbath almost everytime. Nothing will change because a 16yo pawn cries on the tv. Why ? Because almost everyone wants to keep their comfort and don't want to live like indians, i.e. peasants and candles.

>often done by two persons
Usually it's more whenever i watch a debate.
>accumulate knowledge
You can discuss opinions as well.
>repeats what adults motivated by an agenda teach her
She constantly points out herself that she's not the expert, but just wants to motivate people to listen to actual scientists. How is that not legit?
>ready to die for the cause.
Those are activists, not eco-militias.
>use electricity mainly produced by carbon combustion.
That's the very thing they want to change: Switching to renewable energy.
>Nothing will change because a 16yo pawn cries on the tv
It's about the movement and the generation she represents. Nobody would care about Trump's opinion either, if we wasn't America's head of government.
>don't want to live like indians, i.e. peasants and candles.
Where the heck did you see anyone asking for this?

>global movement that she started

She literally read her speech word by word from a paper while trying to act distraught.

>that she started.
she didn't start shit
it was her whore of a mother who propped her to be a mascot

>that sperg
>startting anything
she's a pawn you idiot

>Usually it's more whenever i watch a debate.
Yes it can be, generally there is a dichotomy drawing on the scene, two distinct sides which have common interests.
>You can discuss opinions as well.
Yes, but global warming is a matter of science, not an opinion. It requires knowledge, basics in scientifical method, basics in chemistry, physics and ecology. You can't read a book if you don't know the alphabet. Crying is resorting to pathos, not reasonable.
>She constantly points out herself that she's not the expert, but just wants to motivate people to listen to actual scientists. How is that not legit?
Exactly my initial point, she's a pawn and certainly not a green Che Guevara.
>Those are activists, not eco-militias.
That's why it's going nowhere except greenwashed taxation, this will not stop the pumping of oil and mining of phosphorous, nitrates, coltan and so on.
>That's the very thing they want to change: Switching to renewable energy.
Still not profitable, you will need a shit ton of solar panels to even reduce by an half our consomption of oil, and I'm a renewable energy optimist. Oil is just cheap and nothing will change until peak oil. Once this point reached, people as a whole will realise how our thermo industrial society needs oil to work since we have not the technology required to replace it efficiently, accordingly to the market's laws.
>It's about the movement and the generation she represents. Nobody would care about Trump's opinion either, if we wasn't America's head of government.
Billionaire opinion that matters less than a 16yo teen ? Come on.
>Where the heck did you see anyone asking for this?
That's my point, people don't know yet what they have to surrender if they really want to save the ecosystem. I personally know, and I wouldn't be bothered. Having some chickens, goats and a small garden is not beyond my reach. Unfortunately our societies are made of 80% urbanites. They literally can't survive without oil and mass agriculture.
