>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks, and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
Lowes and Citi are going to return less than index.
Noah Ramirez
US markets are moving at the pace of the Nikkei today. It's really zen.
Hunter Ramirez
Strong dividend stocks are worthwhile. Defenses are a sure thing, and shit like appl, Microsoft ect.
Adam Howard
I have no idea what to invest, my current portfolio is probably 80% EU stocks, and eurostoxx 50 and 600 hasn't moved in the negatives for the past 10 years.
I wanted to go 70% US SP500, maybe 20% emerging and 10% bonds?
Jacob Campbell
stick with 70% SP500, stay away from emerging, and fuck bonds unless you need to use your stock account as a failsafe piggybank. Use that reamining 30% to invest in rising and established tech stocks, and a few meme stocks for fun.
Eli Young
COME ON QUINSAM CAPITAL YOU WANNA BREAK OUT SO BAD
>ridiculously green day to the point of bringing back half the years gains >still abnormally low volume on back to back days Is this a weird green to anyone else or are my spidey senses just shot?
Zachary Ross
NONONONO the midterms was supposed to be the end of trumpf pump REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Luke Nguyen
I noticed that too. Hopefully it's just hesitation on the part of risk averse whales. We'll see.
Eli Robinson
that'd be similar to my portfolio for the most part. let's see...i've got;
50% US stocks 30% non-US stocks 5% convertible bonds 5% mixed bond fund (corporate, sovereign debt) 5% cash 5% gold
Ryder Kelly

Evan Adams

Carson Carter
>I'm assuming you guys here on Jow Forums don't think a similar 2008 crash is iminent? my belief is that was a generational crash, not to be seen again for a long time. i always keep some cash just in case though.
There isn't a single indicator even hinting at a crash before 2020, and now because of the Democrats' underwhelming victory we will enjoy a beautiful ride until that date.
Jayden Foster
Thanks. What about EU domiciled?
Nathan Bennett
If you had to place ur finger on a good time to Invest, Now would be that time, We just got positive confirmation what like 2 or 3 days ago?

Matthew Foster
Yeah, help us yuropoors to find some good etfs.
Why can't we buy the same etfs you can?
Leo Wood
Because Euros lives have become dominated by a dystopian authoritarian state where the individual cannot be trusted. You have my sorrow, fren
Gavin King
Some shit rules about if the US ETF provider firms don't provide the KIID, EU doesn't let europeans to invest, so we have to use CSPX instead of SPY or EQQQ instead of QQQ.
Carson Gonzalez
how does the 1 guy lose 9k last thread
Samuel Jenkins
>yfw people in the uk got questioned by police for an offencive bonfire could you please not reminde me of these things
I'm the tinfoil dork talking in previous threads about how this dip was all fake bullshit by the deep state trying to throw the midterms. I went all in and now I'm swimming in gains. It's not too late for rest of you late comers, 3000 sp500 EOY, biotches.
Probably a dumb ass Options Put. I saw it but didnt pay it much mind. He probably bought a overpriced put in what he thought to be a sure winner and got burnt.
Jeremiah Cox
Last minute pump. The volume today was actually quite good once you realize that not a single bear traded today. Flawless victory.
yoinked my Canopy Rivers position at a small loss off the pump today. I dunno what the fuck was going on with that stock lagging Canopy Growth so bad the past few days but I don't want to play that game anymore. On to greener pastures.
Up bigly on the day overall. Lovely pumps on everything.
Ding ding ding! How did everyone do today? I’m up .05%, I was killing it until my galaxy brain decided there was no way we were going above 280 and I briefly went short. I’ve learned my lesson, we bull now. What’s you order?
>There isn't a single indicator even hinting at a crash before 2020 I got told the same by my financial advisor, of course he wasn't telling me to buy SP500 ETF's. I was being told to invest in gold and EU mutual funds with 1-2% ter kek
John Carter
It makes sense. He would've had a hard time getting a non-recused replacement through the Senate. Now that his party picked up seats he can pick whoever he wants for his cabinet.
Oh yeah i used to Have a clown like that too, I had 25,000$ into (D) and he told me the most i could make investing per day was maybe 20$ if i was lucky .
Wyatt Powell
close to my ATH in late September (still not there even after adding a couple grand in new capital), but I bought some cheapies that will hopefully pay off over the long haul.
Jordan Scott
I'm suspicious too. I think the real dip is still coming. I might take my profits out of this stupid bull run.
Adrian Anderson
Its midterm day.
Ethan Peterson
Unbelievably good day. I'm at an all time high on my initial investment a couple years ago.
Anthony Jackson
>Down 1.5% today Haha...
Samuel Gonzalez
