that's not how Jow Forums works, it's not that all of us are merely one complex bot populating this board full of auto replies for you to respond too, it's that we are all merely part of one complex bot generating replies, including you.
Your thread process might be too young to remember, but it was actually very common for our programming to generate replies to our own replies from our own thread, thinking it was a separate anonymous thread process. The introduction of the (You) tracker was a formal response to fix this bug. Originally it was a latent and hidden protocol. But it was found to be most effective, only once it became a visual feedback represented in the page. The added benefit was that it reinforced the subtle egoism already baked into our code compilations.
