Are we slowly starting to realize everyone will be using permissioned private Blockchains?

Are we slowly starting to realize everyone will be using permissioned private Blockchains?

Another Oracle contender has appeared, further taking away market share from Chainlink.

Rhombus is just like all the other centralized oracles.

Rhombus more like assbus

pee pee poo poo

IN literally every talk Sergey says he doesn't know what decentralization is worth. A centralized oracle that fetches data from multiple sources will likely be better in every respect than a decentralized one.

If you're confused, here's ETH's Joseph Poon talking about how a large portion of crypto projects need peer-to-peer oracles, and only two or so projects are working on that:

See You're cute though.

Centralize means trust and responsability.
CL means 'whops your money is gone' and no one is responsible.
The more you know.

No, it's not, because it is a single point of failure. How many times do we have to go over this?

Trusting organizations is a liability. Trusting open source code is literally less risky.

Look everybody, an actual retard.

Centralized means single point of attack and failure.

Decentralized means trustess.

>Are we slowly starting to realize everyone will be using permissioned private Blockchains?

ZKPs will make the difference between private and public blockchains irrelevant. Decentralized oracles win out because of this.

>A centralized oracle that fetches data from multiple sources will likely be better in every respect than a decentralized one.

Wrong, but even if you were right Chainlink can function in a centralized or decentralized manner and wins out due to optionality.

Thanks just bought 100k mobius

where can i buy some rhombus

give it 5 more years and all these bullshit "private blockchains" will be extinct. It's the same shit all over again like in the dotcom bubble when every faggot company was afraid of the internet cause it was not safe and they were all using intranets. They still use them today, but this had 0 impact on the internet becoming mainstream.

The whole "decentralize everything" is a socialist meme and always was.

Now that the dust has settled can we all agree that LINK had a moderately successful PnD culminating in a meandering jargon blog post posing as an "update" and is now well on its way to returning to its true price, 15 cents. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this Christmas Sergey again tests his limit by swimming across a large body of water but this time fails to make it across. That's of course if he isn't already dead in a Thai bathhouse after ODing on all the cocaine that he bought with the ICO funding. Rory probably logs into Sergey's slack account now and then to offer some proof of life in order to keep the con going.

>give it 5 more years and all these bullshit "private blockchains" will be extinct.
Probably something along those lines.

See this: coindesk.com/ibm-blockchain-maersk-shipping-struggling/

Private blockchains with multiple big parties are likely doomed to fail.

All those data sources still get fed into the same spot, which is centralized

That's something no oracle can solve. Negligible.

Happy slave, happy slave!

It’s cute how you base your entire understanding and perspective on sending bitcoins from one wallet to another.

Relax friends.
Kenny is here.
It is gonna be allright.

What is ZKP and why is it good for chainlink?

Solving the issues of a customers platform is not in the scope of the oracle problem you dumbass. Thats like complaining that your ISP is shit because your new apple laptop didnt fix their shit internet service.

zero knowledge proof. it'll allow enterprises to operate publicly (with all the benefits of public blockchain like decentralization) without revealing sensitive information (all the benefits of a private blockchain).

look up hacera. the ceo is jonathan levi, same guy in this picture with sergey and vitalik. his significance didn't make any sense to me until this latest fud.

pls buy rhombus sirs

You gotta step it up dude. This is just retarded now

What if decentralization is worth $0? This is looking likely.
