Any math-friends can talk about maximizing your chances of winning the lottery?

Any math-friends can talk about maximizing your chances of winning the lottery?

I mean, there are things that must have lower chances, like:
>not distributed patterns i.e. 123456...
>repeated patterns, i.e. the last winning number
>et cetera

Buy every ticket of a small lottery.

mathematicians dont play the lottery

>not distributed patterns i.e. 123456...
>repeated patterns, i.e. the last winning number

Happens all the fucking time. No amount of math is going to help you here.

Thats not how probability works dumbass

>probability
I'm talking statistics, not probability, ass faggot

You seem like exactly the kind of person who should be playing the lottery. Go all in my friend.

Never gonna make it.

im not going in without a math model.

I only buy stock that Goldman sacks deems safe, but I want to try something that is high risk but low investment.

lottery pool

>This isn’t the first time that MIT has been involved in a gambling controversy. Ten years ago, students and a professor were involved in a massive card-counting scandal in Las Vegas casinos.

kek

If the lottery is not rigged it doesnt matter, every possible outcome has the same odds and it doesnt matter what the previous outcome was and other bullshit you are spewing out.

Retard.

I have a master in Mathematics. And it's an interesting question because actually there is a way.

I'm too lazy to explain it nicely in theory, but here is how u need to play
1) simulate lottery drawing
2) look at the numbers you get. Check if these numbers follow a pattern, e.g. series of numbers (31, 32, 33, 34), birthday combinations, or, if you draw them on the lottery ticket appear to be in a row/column/diagonal. If any pattern is present , go back to 1
3) if no pattern, these are your numbers

Pick local lotteries that have low minimums that increase in number as the pool grows.

Ada is so perfect, i'd drink bottles of her sweat if I was given the chance.

Tldr guy found a way to predict winning tickets on 3$ lotteries based on the numbers above the scratch off surface. Apparently there's still some 3$ games with screwy prize outputs that don't match what they should be. So there might still be ways of predicting winners that people have figured out.

If history didn't matter, Claude Shannon's Information theory wouldn't work.

young ada > old ada

But Becky > Ada
RE3 Jill is God-Tier tough

thats not scamming. its the organizer being an idiot.

Wasn't the movie "21" with Kevin Spacey about that?

No idea on lottery, but I know people who've made a lot of money by using it on all kinds of games and gambling sites

Lotteries are a trap to catch rogue timetravelers

Changes are the same, but you can minimize chance of not sharing the pot with other winners.

So avoid
1. The numbers from lost
2. Patterns, 123..., 111...
3. Birthdays, so choose numbers that aren't birthdays

But its probably more value just to get the random numbers, as the cost of your time to specifically choose numbers is many magnitudes greater than the chance you win and avoid sharing.

This. The only pattern that exist is, that single digit numbers have a lower chance to be winning numbers. That's it.

This isn't Shannon's theory of information, this shit is just the gambler's fallacy

Why are you fucking faggots not talking about Ada? Isn't she gorgeous?

>tfw all mathematics are btfo by the fact that most lotto winners do randomized picks and therefore simply by picking your own numbers you are statistically lowering your odds of winning

this

There is no feasible way to increase your chances of winning, the only thing you can do is limit your chances of losing by only buying 1 ticket every 2 weeks or month or something. Your chances don't really go up a worthwhile amount from buying 1 ticket a month to buying 100 tickets every week.

In terms of EV, if the prize is high enough, a $3 ticket can actually be +EV, just because the potential profit off that $3 is astronomical. But buying any more than 1 random ticket is retarded. I say random because there's no such thing as "more likely" numbers, thats shitty gambler's logic

Buy twice as many tickets to double your chance of winning.

>anything completely legal and within the rules and system of the game that makes the jews lose money is a "scam"
How coincidental...

Yes, actually when the pot size grows to record numbers it might become +ev. However im not sure if this is the case as the tickets sold will too increase ten fold thus the chances to split the winning pot might be quite high. Might not be this way but could be :)

depends on the lottery. and why would anyone that knows how to make money off this share that information with you..?

You think they would help you?
