How does it feel to not invest in one of the only cryptos that have an actual use-case?

I don't understand the use case. Why would I want a browser to feed me relevant ads in the first place? I'm already happy using a blocker to keep ads to a minimum, and I especially hate targeted ads. On top of that, why would I want to think about a crypto balance when I'm just surfing the web as usual. I'm just a brainlet but I don't get the incentive. I don't want to tip content creators or have a companies send me crypto to watch ads

CHING CHONG WING WONG
there is none. OP is a dot dot dot

BAT is closely connected to the Brave browser, and the person behind BAT is the same person who co-founded Mozilla and invented javascript.

Since everyone is starting to use AdBlock advertisers are having a hard time.
The incentive is that everyone gets what they want. Advertisers basically pay the user to view their ads. Therefore more people will view their ads and therefore advertisers get a larger audience.

If everyone did what you are doing the web would shut down due to lack of funds. Brave is creating a system where everyone wins (besides data mining middlemen)

What's stopping from writing a script to constantly watch new ads for bat coins? If they introduce captcha shit I'd stop using it altogether

Brave is an interesting project. BAT seems like a superfluous chucky cheese utility token used to raise funds for their ICO. It won't stay in anybody's hands long enough to appreciate in value because everybody will be trying to cash it out for something thats actually more useful.Eventually they'll probably just switch over to ETH altogether.

>Why would I want a browser to feed me relevant ads in the first place?

People who don't watch ads are irrelevant. The fact remains that facebook and google are making hundreds of millions on internet ads. Fact is that there are apparently enough people around who do watch ads and buy stuff from them. If you can steer even a fraction of the internet ads market with BAT you've got a multimillion dollar business going.

Well a lot of people are interested in earning BAT and seamlessly supporting thier favorite websites and channels. Everything is opt in you don't have to participate and you still have access to ad blocker . I think that's the beauty of it everyone wins.

If you're using an adblocker then this is literally not for you. It is aimed at literal normalfags who eat all those Youtube ads and viagra ads with chicks in your area horny as fuck for cock, only now they can "earn money" this time and tip their Fortnite streamer with it

>Advertisers basically pay the user to view their ads.
This is stupid on so many levels.

Anytime a bizlet calls BAT stupid, just remember. These are the same people who were shilling pearl, birdchain, etc.

Lmao. Fucking PRL aka "the BAT killer". God I must have came 30+ times from the schadenfreude when Bruno exit scammed these pajeet faggot.

Hold them bags till you die fags!

I'm sure this is hard for your schizo brain to comprehend, but message boards consists of multiple people with different opinions on various subjects.

I've witnessed the distribution. Only the top 1% of bizlets are invested in BAT, and they will be rewarded as such. You don't become part of the 1% in 2019 by investing in bitcoin. Its not 2011 anymore

>>Advertisers basically pay the user to view their ads.

This isn't exactly accurate. Advertisers are paying Brave for an advertising campaign, as they normally would (Advertiser pays Google $X).

The difference is, Brave takes its cut and uses the rest in the BAT ecosystem (Advertiser pays Brave $X, Brave uses $X to buy $BAT, part of this $BAT goes to creators/users). It may seem dumb to brainlets who can't comprehend how it works, but it's genius because it incentivizes online advertising in a way that's never been done before.

You're definitely a late adopter but the earliest FUD against BAT was done by PRL holders, there was a fierce rivalry right before the bullrun

I've gotten almost 500 from donating to myself from the bat grants. How much will that be worth in 3 years?

>You're definitely a late adopter but the earliest FUD against BAT was done by PRL holders, there was a fierce rivalry right before the bullrun
Is all the hate Brave gets on places like Twitter and Ycombinator's board coming from PRL holders as well?

Pretty good considering the tokens are worthless. I use the browser btw.

Same

I have bat and hot hope I can maybe buy a car with it soon lol

No those are salty bitcoin maximalists and ad fraud fags like yourself.

top kek what a faggoty life you must live to waste your time in here. Either you have some other motive or you are extremely accoustic

It took chrome years to deplatform internet explorer and Firefox how many years will it take Brave if it ever does?.

Depends how much adoption happens and how few people fraud/leech off of the system.
There is incentive for people to use Brave and incentive for publishers to shill Brave (Archive.org shilled the crap out of it just yesterday.) Adoption could go much faster because of that. Imagine if Pewdiepie shilled Brave oneday, adoption would skyrocket.
