Serious question: Why would any company pay $100 or more per one token to execute just one contract?

Doesn't make much sense for CL to be more than $1, does it?

Retard

Companies will actually need to use more than one token to execute their smartcontracts, so that means you should expect 10+ Linkies being used per smartcontract.

the old cup of coffee argument

The reason why the argument is still being used is simple - it is probably true.

>Cup of coffee argument

Remember that monkey crap coffee that costs 8-900 a cup

Trillions of dollars at stake her user

>monkey crap coffee
I thought it was cat crap?

Because those contracts used to be crafted by a team of people making 100k per year and you had to keep them on retainer in order to keep making contracts. At 100 bucks per contract it's still a 99.99% cost reduction.

>Indonesian cat-like animal called then palm cive
>t. googler

The reason this argument is still being used is because a lot of anons are retarded enough to believe it and a lot of retarded anons think they are clever by posting low quality fud

What's the counter argument?

Well no, I am asking a serious question and still hasn't gotten any good answers, so it might not be 'low quality fud' after all.

See

the same reason that traders/lawyers/other entities payed hundreds of dollars per minute when cell phone wheres first a thing, to give them an edge in their industries, where seconds can costs millions of dollars or cost lives.

Why do you think they would need to buy the token directly at all?
Or why would they need to buy an entire token?

Yes remember the ol mobile boomer communication bricks??? They were expensive as fuck and very limited but still used

>retard who didn't read whitepaper
that's you you stupid fucking faggot kys

they don't, they only need to use the services which backend systems depends on LINK, of which there will be many. also go read the whitepaper for the second part dingus.

not just used, but whole industries depended on it from the start.

link has 18 decimal places, what's so hard to understand about this?

>link has 18 decimal places, what's so hard to understand about this?
Link cannot be divided by zero user.

is OP and right about the whitepaper saying one token = one contract?

if so glad i didn't fall for this lmao

t. nolinker

I meant to Imply that 1 token is divisible to 18 decimals, so far no one will know how much LINK a contract will cost, but everything pretty much leads to the network effects making the token worth an absurd amount of money, at the end of the day it will all depend on how much the contracts are worth, 1 contract could need .2 LINK as collateral, while another one could need 10,000. we will just have to see when we get there, and the only way to get there, is to get there.

Where do you live that contracts only cost $100 to execute? Here in the 3rd world and better contracts are pricey little things.

>X/0=18
I'm guessing math was not your best subject.

meant to post this one.

>so far no one will know how much LINK a contract will cost

Lmao so everyday I come on here to see spam of a token that nobody actually uses to the point that nobody even understands how it's going to work. That's magnificent. It's amazing how you can keep a shit token scam where the "developers" owns 2/3 of the supply running for so long on pure bots and paid shills

For fuck's sake user what have you done?!

well, if you hate LINK so much, why don't you make a better solution genius?

You can never tell if linkies are acting retarded on purpose or if they're fudding to accumulate more.

whats the difference?

As a smart contract creator you won't pay a fixed price in LINK for job request but a price in USD that will be automatically converted into LINK.

Check "USD pricing" tasks in the Pivotal you brainlet. Even if LINK is $1,000 a token you can pay $0.10 to node operators thanks to the 18 decimals design, faggot
