Dude, i never gave a shit about bitcoin. I only used it for certain purchases but never as anything to invest with. Now i need some stuff to buy and what the fuck do you know, everything is so regulated. When the hell did all this happen?
I know a guy, i'll just ask him. Fucker aint answering his messages What the fuck happened in december

>the dip I'm not investing into btc. Just buying with it. I'm just wondering when it all got so regulated
Ryder Edwards

It's a completely different world to what i left it at. All markets are basically fucking down, dream has what appears to be a temporary outage, and i was so enraged with all this I gave my name and address to a website that supposedly sells pscyedelics. Haven't paid them yet.
How fucked am I?
Justin Bennett
>I gave my name and address to a website that supposedly sells pscyedelics a fellow cosmonaut, cheers friend >How fucked am I? I get my stuff from people I know and trust IRL cash only I don't know friend, all I know is that the gestapo police are tracking btc much more effectively now and are able to trace it back to you clown world is in full swing, my apologies that I couldn't stop them, but I've been doing my best
>be toothpaste >buy perfectly legal at bitonic.nl >only have to wait for 2 btc confirmations before it's directly transfered to my binance wallet (around 10 mins usually)

It's just the way it is. The fiat >>> crypto gateway is long and expensive. That's a cost you pay when you go from crypto >>> fiat
Samuel Smith
VPN and a new wallet. Fuck the government. I always report my zip code as being in a no-sales tax state.
Hunter Rogers
it's probably pretty easy. you just swipe your debit card and select how much btc you want then the machine spits out a receipt with the private key on it. just make sure you use a reputable atm at a reputable location. don't just google Bitcoin atms and go to the nearest shaddy ghetto gas station.
Julian Wilson
New ID, switched to 4G.
I was planning on buying in bulk to get more and for cheaper. I don't abuse the stuff mind you. I just want to be left in peace. I'm just so suprised that I missed out when all these security measures took in place. Real shame too. Hopefully it all plays out well, because I put in some money I reaally wouldn't like to lose.
Nothing is sacred anymore, hebes really are trying to take everything I got. Again, when did all this happen?
Adrian Butler
>imagine not always having usd on exchanges ready to go
Nolan Harris
after the 2017 bullrun, caught their attention and they shifted into highgear to suppress the bullrun (Mt. Gox dumpenings) and started to sick their IRS dogs and handing out subpoenas like birthday cards to whales and exchanges (tether and bitfinex currently on trial)
>Nothing is sacred anymore, hebes really are trying to take everything I got. they try to litigate around God and then are surprised to find out that it's impossible
>When 2018. All the Jews said >Bitcoin isn't real money, we can't have people buying it >Classify it as property so all transactions have to be taxed at max income Now everyone is afraid of being sanctioned by the USG and arrested if they let people buy things with BTC.
Blake Ward
use a credit card, you stupid faggot and stop making useless threads.
Nathan Rivera
Oh, also, if you let people trade crypto for crypto you are basically laying down in front of the IRS and begging for an assraping because they can say >Well BTC was worth X at time of exchange >You recorded Y at this transaction >Your numbers don't match up time for a visit to jail
Carson Cox
I USED A CREDIT CARD FATHEAD

i think they do FIFO so you don't owe until you cash out.

>how come the government put regulations to impede my acquisition of illegal drug/weapon/child pornography a riddle which eludes us all
Ethan Bailey
don't worry after all that money is used to pump/buy ltc, btc will retrace
Jaxson Nguyen
You dumbfuck. You want immediate access you walk into their office and give them fucking cash . They have to wait for electronic transfers to take place.
Who the fuck is gonna give you 1+ btc to walk away/transfer out with while they 'wait' to see if your purchase actually even goes through.
If it was that easy why not open a bunch of bank accounts with 5 bucks and then buy up btc, transfer it off and then they get insufficient fund payment denials from your bank.
Dumbass.

>living in a city that doesn't have a bitcoin exchange office
How do you even get away from taxes?
In Istanbul, Turkey, we have couple bitcoin/altcoin exchange offices and they take %3 commissions which is reasonable I believe. You can sell or buy almost unlimited amount BTC with cash without showing your ID. I know some people from abroad visit istanbul just because of this.
pic related. a bitcoin exchange office in Istanbul.
there are also bitcoin ATM's around the city but they take too much commissions.
No, youre right that its FIFO but every trade is a taxable event. They dont allow "like kind exchanges" where you can trade a car for another car for example and then defer your gain or loss until you sell it for cash. With crypto, every trade is a taxable event.
But its easy as feck now to just api key your exchange to bitcoin.tax. thats what I use. Only had to adjust it a little bit ($0 Bitcoin cash cost basis for instance) >t. CPA thats not a swinglinker for dem favorable long term capital gains rates
