I think the google cloud integration piece is a key indicator; given that the space is so monopolized expect attention from the other players when one does something. This leads me to suspect that we’ll see something like you’ve said.

Can someone explain to me why we cant just use ETH as an Oracle before it is sent to another ETH to serve as a smart contract? I have never been able to understand around why we need when we can use ETH as the Oracle. If we are afraid of having only one type of smart contract to verify the information as functioning as an Oracle and as a smart contract, why can't we use a smart contract platform such as EOS serving as an oracle to ETH (which will function as a smart contract)?

Libra is going to use Hyperledger, not Ethereum, so expecting ChainLink in the mix does not currently make sense from a tech angle, let alone from others (no project this size is going to use experimental tech like ChainLink; there's also no need or want for hard decentralization here)
