poker is hardly gambling, it involves skill moreso than luck
yeah but it's such a fucking grind. Especially when everyone you play against is half decent. I'd rather chartcuck than play poker professionally.
imagine the smell.

Wrong. It is entirely possible that the dude across from you pulls a better hand than you every single turn and stays in no matter what you do, causing you to lose every penny you have regardless of your skill.
Not tournament poker. The variance is insanely high. Poker is about having a 5% edge over other players over thousands of hours. Variance is everything that happens in between, the ups and downs
no, you should go through a satellite
well thats where youre reading skills come into play right?
true but why do the pros always seem to win?
???
It isn't luck that makes the same set of guys get to the final table in each tournament. Phil Ivey isn't just extremely lucky.
>???
There are feed-in tournaments called Satellite tournaments. The entry fee is much cheaper, and if you win, you earn a seat at the world series.
I FOD.
oh right, i cant play those since im american. i did those freerolls on pokerstars back when it was still legal and made it to 12th place out of 5000. i got like 24 bucks kek
just because someone has a better hand doesn't mean he will have the balls to call
the glory of poker is that you can win with the worst hand if you can bluff it
>Poker is about having a 5% edge over other players over thousands of hours
Whoa sign me up
UND shill guy is there with his hoodie
What if they just call anyways? There is absolutely no guarantee that you can win any hand which means that luck determines the winner.
Those norfs are hilarious
There is no guarantee about anything in life, user
so why are the same player winning several tournament ?
