Army for you.

Embrace unemployment, it was the best two years of my life.

Um, travel agencies haven't been relevant since:

-Google maps/earth
-Expedia/Travelocity/...etc.

Thomas Cook needed to adapt or outcompete - it decided to die.

This is great news - shit companies allowed to fail is a return to sanity.

Tourism industry is a shit

>of our time
That was 2008, here we go again

This is good news desu.

It is not capitalism. Boom and busts are a monetary phenomenon

What if this is the beginning of the chain? What if it affects countries like Spain, where tourism is essential?

Being fucking broke with nothing to do all day? Fuck that.

Outside of Germany & France, I'm not sure that Spain (the rest of Europe) provides anything that the world wants outside of tourism & wine. Spain also has ridicoulous levels of youth unemployment (30%). They already have 3x the US great recession unemployment numbers in "good times", what's 15% more, honestly?

If Spain has economic issues because travel agencies are going under then they better get ready for Greece-levels of austerity OR SPEXIT -> diversifying their god damn economy on their own terms.

Who am I kidding though? Good old Socialist Europe. There are no industrialists left on that continent lol

Military

>Moar! Bongs voting Remain
That fucking place (Canary Isles) is going to be a laugh when all the fat retired Bong boomer slags realise, Brexit fucked their health care right out the window. Short Thomas Cook

"Around 9,000 UK staff and 21,000 worldwide were left without jobs and 160,000 customers left abroad"

>Short Thomas Cook
>Does not realize that the company no longer exists (collapsed TODAY).

It actually made boomer bank, jist, fucked themselves buying up stupid competitors who were more hip with the internet shit (but never made a profit). 25% cost of every holiday they sold was going to pay the Joo. Their actual core business was probably sustainable, that debt level isn't

see ?
fucking -told you- so I did.

nothing ever happens

Unironically this.
You dont need to be foot soldier , go do the kitchen or stuff with radar where you sit all day around and see some of the world.
Preferably do this on Plane War Carriers

Thomas Cook was already suffering financially until the very present day.
Capitalism needs a reset sometimes. T.C is going to get bought by some rich Oil Sheikh soon or later.

don't live paycheck to paycheck you dumb goy and maybe you wouldn't have to worry as much.

this. the only people paying for overpriced vacations were literal 90 yo boomers who can't operate a pc. my grandparents booked a vacation for 5000 dollars that I could get for 400 easily.

NO MORE DEBT
NO MORE CENTRAL BANKS
GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH

Attached: LIBERTY.jpg (2848x3996, 2.06M)

If you've got no options see if any temp agencies in your area are hiring

They are in debt to Deutsche bank to make things funnier

Cringe Greek Larp

Central banks are causing this shit and they are not capitalism.

Historically Based

>fucking with anyone's money. ever.
it's happening. Replace "George III" with "Federal Reserve" and we're primed.

Im amazed that travel company's are not required by law to at least be able to not leave customers stranded in this situation

Bro, it's literally a travel agency. As a burger I could never understand how Thomas Cook even lasted this long. Lmao imagine being a travel agent in 2019

Travel Agencies (and most airlines) are all bonded, there is a general insurance the agencies (ABTA, ATOL, CAA) will at least fly the stranded home, backed by UK government if needed. Hotels get fucked as the agency already pocketed the cash for the booking and they would need to put in a claim to the liquidator or hold the guests hostage. Also in the gets shit on list, people who haven't already flown. Leaving now is somewhat problematic as their airline JUST stopped existing - again, Liquidator or creditcard co. for their cash back, but no-one is organizing them replacement flights

fuck off retard
