If he had a single rational thought in his head, he probably would have thought "Gee, I'm a reporter, maybe I shouldn't just make shit up".

As always with these types of leftists, feels beats reals.

And then they wonder why nobody trusts the media.

Wait, lies have consequences?

Don't need to take back anything if you only report the facts.

so ironic. do journalists actually wonder why people want to kill them at this point?

I know, right?

No worries, I'm sure he'll get a job at CNN soon.

Do you think he'll put that quote on his resume?

Ree obviously drumpf is just trying to lie to ppl when he says we lie ree

It's pure crocodile tears though. He's not sorry he did it, he's sorry he got called out on it, caught, and punished for it. If he was really sorry about what he had done, he could have deleted it before it caught national attention with some "Oh oops my bad, my source was unreliable and this was proven false" and he would have probably been ok.

This is why journos deserved it

Are they seriously confused about why someone would want to kill them?

Of course, you can't blame your source when you don't actually have one other than your imagination, so so much for that plan...

>Can't take it back; wish I could
Lol doubtful. He was hoping it would go out there, and no one would call them on it for about a week, or so, and then they could issue a retraction, which only about 20 people would see.

Clearly enough (((journalists))) haven't learned their lesson yet.

*Opens Monster* They don't make shooters like they did back in the day.

I call bullshit. He thought he could slip that in there and not get caugt.
I hear the news lie like this, all the time.

Why would someone blatantly state an empirically verifiable falsehood?

The mainstream media is totally reliable, unbiased, trustworthy, and accurate. Nothing to see here people, move along, move along...

CURBSTOMPED

To push their agenda, make a power grab, con people out of their money, deflect blame, you know, all the usual reasons.
