> "Can't take it back; wish I could," wrote Conor Berry, a former reporter for the Republican in Springfield, Mass., after posting a Twitter message suggestion that a Maryland shooting suspect had brought a "Make America Great Again" hat to the office of the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Md.
>"Can't take it back; wish I could," Don't need to take back anything if you only report the facts.
Lincoln Taylor

Hudson Turner

No worries, I'm sure he'll get a job at CNN soon.
Connor Campbell

It's pure crocodile tears though. He's not sorry he did it, he's sorry he got called out on it, caught, and punished for it. If he was really sorry about what he had done, he could have deleted it before it caught national attention with some "Oh oops my bad, my source was unreliable and this was proven false" and he would have probably been ok.
Julian Baker
This is why journos deserved it
Sebastian Wilson
Are they seriously confused about why someone would want to kill them?
Carter Campbell

Thomas Long
>Can't take it back; wish I could Lol doubtful. He was hoping it would go out there, and no one would call them on it for about a week, or so, and then they could issue a retraction, which only about 20 people would see.
Xavier Foster
Clearly enough (((journalists))) haven't learned their lesson yet.
Parker Adams
*Opens Monster* They don't make shooters like they did back in the day.
