Actually Le Duan did not execute anyone once the two countries were reunited. He sent a lot of people to reeducation camps but no executions.

Apparently a lot, I have a friend who is half white half viet hapa and they get treated like shit by full ethnic vietnamese people. The hapas resulting from the war are basically viewed as subhuman there and in the states. There was a huge initiative post war to bring back the kids the GIs created with vietnamese villagers and he got here that way.
