Here's the reality under a central-bank-managed economy with high taxes and regulation of production: income is politically allocated.

Money isn't something that springs up whenever someone does productive work for someone else. There's a limited supply and it has to circulate. But large transaction taxes (income tax, sales/service tax, payroll tax, etc.) means that a community's circulating money supply is quickly slurped up by the government. The government is under no obligation to return tax money to the cycle from which it was drained, but rather spends its money according to political process.

So the amount of work you're permitted to do for each other is limited by the government's direct or indirect return of taxed funds. With price controls (like minimum wage), you can't just pay each other less and less as you run short of money, or switch to barter.

If you lose at politics, you can't make up for it by being industrious. Your community can only work for each other to the extent that the distant central government allows you to do so. If that's not enough for you to live, then you have to go and move to a politically-favoured city and pay whatever rent the property owners charge and do whatever the politically-favoured people want you to do. And you know what it looks like after you do that? The politically-favoured city gets to claim your labour as its product, and the place you left doesn't.

Don't call people parasites just because they manage to push back on the government enough to get them to ease the boot off their necks slightly. We live under a truly monstrous system that destroys liveable, healthy communities and tears at independence and security.

Central-bank socialism is perhaps the most insidious form, declaring itself to be capitalism.
