There's no economic boom, GDP growth since the 2009 has been one of the lowest historically.
Obama didn't save anything. The fundamental problem is still there - very high level of debt, both public and private. But presidents have nothing to do with it. Banks and the Fed at the head are responsible. They've just postponed the inevitable by making rates ultra low and inflated an even bigger bubble. But it will end the same way as before - with crash similar to one in 1929 and huge deleveraging that followed it next 20 years.
