Well, i was like 15 back then and went out with my family during the grand opening. First the politicans got their piece, then the "celebs" and then a bunch of gyppo children stormed in and started eating it with their bare hands. After them the adult gyppos did the same and at that point the people that had been watching started leaving before the inevitable.

So while we go to our car pieces start flying everywhere, gyppos are literally carrying pieces on ther shoulders and fighting like in a snowball fight. Car windshields, stores, street signs and poles, nothing is spared. I didn't stay any longer but later i learned they had called the police and cleanup and had clubbed a few gyppos.

In the past few years more young people left Croatia than they expelled Serbs during the ethnic cleansing of the 90's, their economy is in utter ruins and entire regions like Gorski Kotar and Dalmatian Zagora are depopulated.

The mentality is VERY different from Slovenia once you go down. If i had to describe it it's the feeling of having been fucked over and cheated out of a great deal, being at the recieving end. With the fall of communism and the inevitable crisis that hit all countries, many people lost their life's savings and property (Albania had pyramid schemes while Yugoslavia had Hyperinflation) and because of the very delicate state of affairs they could not be included into the EU. Today the people that collaborated with the scammers and bought up all the propperty are reaping millions and control the things from behind. The average balkanite knows he's been screwed over, but has nobody to point the finger at. This is used by the same politicans of before to give the people a scapegoat, in this case an enemy nation. Gaining or losing a piece of land (Kosovo/RS) is not the solution, it's why everything is being done to prevent it from happening.

If we were to gain Kosovo in this case, or Serbia gained RS, how much until people realize nothing has changed and murder their politicans in their sleep?

it's a matter of comparison, look at Serbia and Sandzak problem, aka muslim center in their own country. As well as them not being able to maintain territorial integrity. Bosnia doesn't need to be mentioned with their ethnic and border fuckery. Crna gora seems okay now that they separated from Serbia, much more stable politically, they joined NATO and all. So i'd say Slovenia has best, followed by Croatia and Crna Gora. The rest are trash cans literally and figuratively.
