I am the former so I'm in short of a few hundred dollars and I was wondering how I could convince my parents (mainly my dad)) to butt in like $600 in a compromising but casual manner? I was thinking of asking them on the month of birthday. On top of that i thought of a brilliant idea to have my phone contract permanently cancelled so my parents can put forth that money into the costly surgery instead of subsidizing my monthly phone bills. When I first heard about eyelid surgery, i couldn't believe it was even a thing. I've never noticed double vs mono eyelids as a white person and i can't believe people obsess over it.
Asians are the most consistently good looking race. Embrace your looks and your heritage. You can probably do all sorts of things to improve yourself that will be far more dramatic than eyelids.

You should probably focus on other areas that are naturally fixable like weight, muscle, etc. A chubby girl I know spent $10k of her parents' money (they're not rich as far as I know) for eyelid and nose surgeries in Korea; her eyes were definitely, noticeably larger but that didn't change the fact that she was fat.
