Hey Jow Forums, I'm having an issue with my car and need advice how to fix it.
No power is going to my car. When I open the door, the ceiling light turn on, but when I turn towards the ignition, all power is depleted.
I can't even auto-lock my car. Battery is still new, so what could it be?

Ignition system is probably fucked. Call a mechanic and your car insurance.
Maybe your battery is just shit or you drained it or that's why there are mechanics.
is the engine trying to turn over or is it just complete silence when you turn the key?
Complete silence.
It was either that or fuse, don't know how to properly check either of them
fuses was gonna be my next one too. do you know where they are at least? owners manual should be in the glove box, you can find it there
It's very likely that. My car had the same issue a few months ago. Call a mechanic.
You could also try making this thread on /o/, i'm sure they could be more helpfull.

oh and to check em you just pull it straight out and see if the contact is busted or not. thin metal line, if broken in the middle then fuse is kill. if line is uninterrupted then fuse is fine.
Doesn't that only apply to the small unnecessary ones?
I need it to have power, not turn the headlights or wipers one
mini relays, check those first
Go to the CAR BOARD.
And give them ACTUAL INFORMATION. Make, model, and year.

See, that's what I thought so too, but how do you test them? I can't see through the case, so how do I know it's broken

2 Get a new battery
Tried jumping it last night, nothing happened
Called my mechanic, cost me $30.
Told me the main Fuse box is shorted. Gotta find one somewhere to replace it
