Transgenderism doesn't exist. At least not as a mental illness. It is actually a symptom of borderline personality disorder, which is basically untreatable.
These people are perpetually suicidal no matter what changes are made in their lives. It's like a combination of severe depression & PTSD that never goes away. This is why they'll go through with mutilating their genitals and completely reshaping their identity to live life as a member of the opposite sex, then three years later state that they don't feel any better and continue to try and kill themselves.
There's no way to fix it other than to spread awareness of what's actually going on with these people mentally and hope some of them take the initiative to go to therapy.
